Confession

Prayers

Romans 10:8-

11 (NIV)

[8] But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: [9] That if you confess with your mouth,“ Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. [11] As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”

Page 3: Praying With Authority

Hebrews 4:14 (NKJV)

[14] Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold

fast our confession.

Hebrews 10:23 (NKJV)

[23] Let us hold fast the confession of our hope

without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

1 John 1:9 (NIV)

[9] If we confess our

sins, he is faithful and

just and will forgive us

our sins and purify us

from all

unrighteousness.

Declaration

Prayers

Romans 4:17

(NIV)

[17] As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.

A Declaration is a statement or decree of fact

(that is often based on faith).

1. Why is it a fact?

a. Because God said it.

Page 6: Praying With Authority

John 17:26

(NKJV)

[26] “And I have

declared to them Your

name, and will declare

it, that the love with

which You loved Me

may be in them, and I

in them.”

Acts 12:17 (NKJV)

[17] But motioning to them with his hand to

keep silent, he declared to them how the

Lord had brought him out of the prison. And

he said, “Go, tell these things to James and to

the brethren.” And he departed and went to

another place.

Page 7: Praying With Authority

1 John 1:5-8 (NKJV)

[5] This is the message which we have

heard from Him and declare to you,

that God is light and in Him is no

darkness at all. [6] If we say that we

have fellowship with Him, and walk

in darkness, we lie and do not practice

the truth. [7] But if we walk in the

light as He is in the light, we have

fellowship with one another, and the

blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses

us from all sin. [8] If we say that we

have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and

the truth is not in us.

1 Timothy 4:1-5 (NKJV)[1] Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, [2] speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, [3] forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. [4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; [5] for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

a. How I Declare over my meals.

> Prayer of Thanks.> “I receive it through your Word which sanctifies it” (Exp)

Declaration

It’s a statement of faith facts

What God told you will be > you Declare (May be, may not be publicly)

It’s calling it / stating / Declaring what will be.

Prayers

Mark 11:23-24 (NIV)

[23] “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain,

‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,'and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. [24] Therefore I tell you,

whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it,

and it will be yours.

Mark 1:21-27 (NKJV)

[21] Then they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught. [22] And they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. [23] Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, [24] saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”

Page 10: Praying With Authority

Mark 1:21-27 (NKJV)

[25] But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” [26] And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him. [27] Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? What new doctrine is this? For, with authority, He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.”

Luke 8:22-25 (NKJV)

[22] Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out. [23] But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. [24] And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. [25] But He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”

What is a Deliverance Prayer? (#9)

Matthew 6:12-13 (NKJV)

[12] And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our

debtors.[13] And do not lead us

into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the

kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

Amen.

Page 13: Praying With Authority

Matthew 6:13 (KJV)

[13] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.

Amen.

Matthew 6:13 (YLT)

[13] 'And mayest Thou not lead us to temptation, but deliver us from the evil,

because Thine is the reign, and the power, and

the glory--to the ages. Amen.

Mark 16:17 (NKJV)

Luke 10:19-20 (NKJV)

[17] “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

[19] “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. [20] “Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

Luke 1:63-75 (AMP & NKJV)

[63] Then Zachariah asked for a writing tablet and wrote, His name is John. And they were all astonished. [64] And at once his mouth was opened and

his tongue loosed, and he began to speak, blessing and praising and thanking God. [65] And awe and reverential fear came on all their neighbors;

and all these things were discussed throughout the hill country of Judea. [66] And all who heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, Whatever will this little boy be then? For the hand of the Lord was [so evidently] with him [protecting and aiding him]. [67] Now Zachariah his father was filled

with and controlled by the Holy Spirit and prophesied, saying,

[68] Blessed (praised and extolled and thanked) be the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has come and brought deliverance and redemption to

His people!

Page 15: Praying With Authority

Luke 1:63-75 (AMP & NKJV)

[69] And He has raised up a Horn of salvation [a mighty and valiant Helper, the Author of salvation] for us in the house of David His servant — [70] This is as He promised by the mouth of His holy prophets from the most ancient times [in the

memory of man] —

[71] That we should have deliverance and be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who detest and pursue us with hatred; [72] To perform the mercy

promised to our fathers And to remember His holy covenant, [73] The oath which He swore to our father Abraham: [74] To grant us that we, Being delivered from

the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear, [75] In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.

Matthew 10:1 (NKJV)

Matthew 10:7-8

(NKJV)

[1] And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power [“exousia” - authority]

over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and

all kinds of disease.

[7] “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand. ’[8] “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers,

raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Luke 4:18-19 (KJV)

[18] The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, [19] To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (NIV)

[3] For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. [4] The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. [5] We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. [6] And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.

1 Timothy 1:18-20 (NKJV)

[18] This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, [19] having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck, [20] of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I delivered to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.

Page 20: Praying With Authority

2 Timothy 2:1-4 (NKJV)

[1] You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. [2] And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. [3] You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. [4] No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.

1 Peter 2:11 (NKJV)

[11] Beloved, I beg you as sojourners

and pilgrims, abstain from

fleshly lusts which war against the

soul,
