    PREFACE

    Today a stiff antagonism is seen in the economy. Now the present state of affairs of the business

    globe is quite poles apart from the precedent. Ethics , conflicts and new ideologies are just the

    minority of the uniqueness that make the present scenario quite unusual from past.

    In order to cope up in the even-changing environment, the knowledge of all aspects of business

    world is a need today. B.B.A. programmer and management intuitions endow with a global

    world manager to this business would.

    To embark upon the challenges is the main aphorism of management students and to be

    acquainted with the real mechanism and functioning for big industries and organization. They

    are engaged with numerous information about the industries like-factors affecting the abilities of

    the companies to acquire utmost profit and be relevant certain strategic implementation that will

    craft a particular company to expose authentic environment. Thanks the institution for providing

    me the project of the company that has up dates my inner strength of knowledge and potential.

    I have encountered, and do my finest efforts to swathe all the information, which I composed

    during my research project. I optimism that I will be assure the industrial and the university

    criteria for preparing the project report.

    It was a purposeful enriching experience for me. This industry project really helps me in expand

    of my knowledge as glowing as in development of my skills in decision-making.

    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

    Bajaj ceramic have a fully automatic ultra modern plant since 1992. We have a production

    capacity supported by a spacious press and one of the longest kilns in India. It consist of ball

    mills, kiln with control environment assure goods quality of products. Bajaj tiles have

    documented system to ensure that the product is always in accordance with the latest technical

    specification or customer requirement. Systemic quality records on maintained to show the

    evidence that the supplied products meets the customer requirements.

    The market research survey undertaken at Bajaj aims to consumer satisfaction on the brand tiles.

    Research design is used descriptive multiple cross section design. Research instrument is used

    as questionnaire. Research is used as survey personal interview. Sampling method is used

    conveniences non probability. Sample size taken as 100 samples primary data are collected by

    personal interview with questionnaire from respondents where as secondary data are collected

    from website, books, etc.

    The demand of 12*8 tiles is very high in the market to majority of retailers get credit and

    replacement facility. The company sales promotion tools are discount, extra commission and

    replacement facility. Bajaj has the higher brand awareness than the Somany and Asian.

    I have concluded from the above finding that company should increase credit facility and to

    provide better margin to motivate retailers to sale the company product. The company should

    improve the quality of finishing, design and color.
