EI Eligible and Non-EI Eligible, Aboriginal Peoples and Newcomers to Canada are encouraged to apply. This full-time (32-week) program starting March 23, 2015: • Requires Grade 10 to be eligible • Begins with in-class instruction, job readiness training and secondary trade training in Carpentry (8 weeks) • Progresses to Electrical Training (12 weeks) • Concludes with a Paid Work Placement (12 weeks) When you complete this program, you will have the equivalent to Level 1 Basic Electrical Apprentice, job experience, the skills to search for and find employment, or pursue a full apprenticeship. No cost to participants. Tuition, text books, tools and safety equipment (hard hat, work boots, safety glasses) are covered. School of Trades and Technology
