The Senses

of Spring

Beauty meets the eye,

Bright flowers of all colors.

Blue skies, puffy clouds.

The buzz of a bee,

Birds screeching their different songs,

Lawn Mowers cut grass.

A campfire burning,

Hot marshmallows on cut sticks,

So sweet to the taste.

Gentle breezes blow,

Pushing objects here and there,

The sun feels so warm!

Freshly cut grass,

Fragrant beautiful rosebuds.

The smell of fresh pine.

The senses of spring,

What a joy to behold!

God’s great creations.

How Does Your

Garden Grow?

With the assistance of Cecilia Diaz from Rutgers Cooperative and Cathy Pariser from the Passaic County Master Gardeners, we were able to make Mr. Herman’s dream of a tomato garden come true. Bob H. and his buddy, Dave B. , “Got their hands dirty” to plant our

Preakness Healthcare Center Tomatoes!

The tomato plants were provided by Rutgers Cooperative. We were excited to learn that we were planting a special tomato breed that

was created especially for The Campbell’s Soup Company!

May we be blessed with a plentiful harvest!
