The US Masters Tournament is on every golfers’ bucket lists and you’ll find no better way to experience

it than joining PGA Professionals Ray Hawkins and Brad McIntosh on this once in a lifetime trip.

You can't fully appreciate the magnificence of the Augusta National Golf Course or the event until you’ve

actually been there. Walk the course, and follow your favourite groups with Ray & Brad as they give you

a PGA Professionals unique insight into the competing field’s game and strategies, as well as inside

information on the tournaments’ mystery and traditions.

On this tour, when you’re not at the Masters, you’ll be playing golf with Ray & Brad and improving your

game with their tuition at the exclusive golf clubs in the area, including the premier private club, West

Lake Country Club.

Monday 2nd April 2018

Attend Masters Practice Round

Your first day at the Masters in going to be

unforgettable. Make sure you take lots of

photos, as Monday and Wednesday will be

your only option, as cameras aren’t allowed

during the tournament. Make sure you leave

your phone at home though! The days

leading up to a golf tournament typically are

quiet affairs, but that is hardly the case at

Augusta National. It’ll be easier to see today,

and you’ll find the players are calmer and

more relaxed. You’ll get to see them hit

different shots and work on their game while

Ray & Brad explain the strategy behind it all.

Mini-Verde ultra-dwarf bermuda greens,

Wednesday 4th April 2018

Attend Masters Practice Round & Par 3 Contest

Of all the traditions at the

Masters, none is more endearing

than the annual Par 3 Contest.

This beloved event, part

competition, part stress relief on

the eve of the crucible that is

competing at the Masters, is a

family affair. Wives and

girlfriends, children and

grandchildren, nieces and

nephews all happily serve as

caddies. Together they wind their

way around a short, nine-hole

layout nestled in the northeast

corner of the Augusta National

grounds. There have been 80 holes-in-one made over the years, including a record five in 2002.

Famously, no winner of the Par 3 Contest has ever gone on to triumph in the Masters the same year.

Golf at West Lake Country Club with shared motorised carts

The West Lake course, designed by Donald Ross protégé and Pinehurst native Ellis Maples, is a

traditional course known for its impeccable playing conditions. The course opened in 1969 on a 700-acre

site, with water features on seven of its 18 holes. West Lake will challenge and reward players of all

levels with tee options ranging from 5,289 to 6,857 yards and its brand new 320-yard driving range with

TifGrand Bermuda and practice areas for sand trap and fairway or greenside bunker shots. West Lake is

an Augusta tradition for guests from around the world.

Friday 6th April 2018

Attend Masters Tournament

Today, at the end of the second round, golfers with the low 50 scores, plus ties, plus any golfer within 10

strokes of the lead, advance to play the final two rounds, it not, they’re cut…so you may feel the

pressure in the air. If it all gets too much, make sure you get yourself one of the famous Masters

Pimento cheese sandwiches followed by an ice cream sandwich. They don’t bring the ice cream

sandwiches out straight away, and even then they’re not available at every concession stand, they sell

out! So, if you see one, grab it quick. Both these sandwiches are Masters experiences not to be missed!

Saturday 7th April 2018

Day at Leisure

After all the golf, watching and playing, spend today as you like. Augusta is a historic city. They’ve got

golf, azaleas and manicured lawns of course, but there’s also funky music, cutting-edge art, Masters

themed festivals and quirky bistros. And there’s plenty of pubs, or the luxury of your own houses’

lounge room to watch all of the events of today’s Master’s tournament unfold.

Attend Final Round Masters Tournament & Green Jacket Presentation

Unbelievable. Impossible. Insane. Just some of the ways you will describe today in years to come. Let’s

hope it’s watching an Aussie take out the green jacket! With fierce competition and lofty stakes, the

Masters tournament sometimes ends in a tense and action-packed playoff. The tournament has a

unique (among majors) method of formatting a playoff, employing sudden death, maximising the

drama. No sudden death playoff has lasted more than two holes. As the defending champion helps

the new winner into his green jacket …. you’ll be there.

by our negligence.

If, due to supplier availability an item on this itinerary is no longer available for our tour, Golf & Tours reserves the

right to substitute any of the golf, accommodation, transfers or activities listed in this itinerary with any item of

similar standard/value.

Flights

This tour requires a minimum number of golfers to proceed. Please do not book your flights until you have been

advised by Golf & Tours that this tour will be proceeding. If minimum numbers are not achieved, you will be

offered a full refund or opportunity to transfer your deposit to another tour.

Travel Insurance

Golf & Tours Pty Ltd strongly recommends that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of paying

a deposit. The policy should provide cover for loss of deposit, cancellation and additional expenses, medical

expenses and repatriation and loss or damage to baggage and valuables. You are responsible for making any

special or increased insurance arrangements which you deem are necessary.

Passport & Visas

It is your sole responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport at the time of travelling and that you hold all

necessary visas and permits. All Australians must hold a valid passport for international travel. Some countries

require you when entering to hold passport with at least six months validity.

Pricing

Every effort is made to ensure that the prices quoted to you are correct; however, Golf & Tours Pty Ltd acts only as

an agent and relies on information provided to us from our suppliers of the travel services and products listed in

this itinerary. We will bring to your attention any change in price prior to you paying the balance of the tour. N.B

some golf clubs, hotels, transfer companies and travel service providers reserve the right to increase their pricing

due to increases in green fees, hotel accommodation charges and currency fluctuations etc. Where the increase in

price is greater than 10% of the original price of the tour, you may choose to either:

(a) cancel the applicable booking without incurring any penalty; or

(b) accept the change of price

You must notify the Tour Operator of your choice within 14 days of receipt of notice of the increase or you will be

deemed to have accepted the price change and will be liable for payment of the increase.

Payments

Golf & Tours accepts the following payment methods: Direct bank deposits, cheque and credit card (Visa,

American Express or MasterCard N.B credit card payments will incur a 2.9% processing fee).

A deposit of AU$5,000 per person is required to secure your place on this tour. Please indicate on the booking

form how you wish to make this payment.

The balance will be due on 19th December 2017. On 18th December at 10am, this tour will be converted from USD

to AUD using the best rate from the 4 major banks. Golf & Tours will contact you on 19th December 2017, advising

of the full amount owing for the tour in Australian dollars, minus the deposit already paid, giving you the final

balance owing. If you wish to make this final balance payment earlier than this date, please contact Golf & Tours

Pty Ltd.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations by the client must be in writing and are subject to the following forfeit of cost per person:

• Cancellation before final balance payment is required: Deposit lost or option to transfer full deposit to a

subsequent tour

• Cancellation after final balance payment has been completed: 100% of the tour cost charged

If the company is forced to cancel a tour, a full refund or option to transfer full deposit to a subsequent tour will be

offered to the client.
