Bosnia and Herzegovina has extensive possibilities for production of wide variety of solid wood furniture and panel furniture either in sets or individual pieces (living rooms, bedrooms, children rooms, kitchens, school furniture, office furniture, dining rooms, furniture for lobbies, bathrooms, gardens).

Kompanija Boksit a.d. Milići – Sektor Drvoprerada počeo je sa radom 2010. godine, kada je Kompanija Boksit na licitaciji kupila preduzeće Šesti avgust Milići.
Odmah potom pristupilo se sanaciji i rekonstrukciji, kao i nabavci nove opreme, tako da je za kratko vrijeme sektor, pored primarne prerade (linije za prorez trupaca kapaciteta 25.000 m³ godišnje, parioničkih i kapaciteta za vještačko sušenje drvene građe i decimirnice za krojenje suhe građe) pokrenuo i proizvodnju masivnih podova i parketa, masivnih lijepljenih ploča (širinski i dužinsko-širinski spoj), elemenata za namještaj, a od 2014. godine i proizvodnju namještaja na bazi masiva. Proizvodnja je zasnovana dominantno na bazi prerade bukve, hrasta, jasena, ali i drugih vrsta drveta po zahtjevu kupca.
Cilj kompanije, sažet u sloganu Korak ispred..., je da postane jedan od vodećih drvoprerađivača u regionu, sa posebnim akcentom na kvalitetu proizvoda.
The Boksit Joint stock co. Milići became operational in the wood processing sector (Drvoprerada) in 2010 after the company had purchased the former 6. Avgust Milići through an auction.
Immediately after the purchase, the Boksit began a process of rehabilitation and reconstruction as well as the procurement of new equipment. Thus, in addition to primary processing the company was able to launch the production of solid floors and parquet as well as the production of glued solid panels (joined lengthwise or width wise) and furniture panels. The company launched the manufacture of solid wood furniture in 2014. Primary processing at the sawmill is conducted using a timber cutting line with an annual capacity of 25,000 m³, steaming and drying chambers for artificial wood drying and dry wood/board tailoring and rough mill/trimming and edging line. Manufacture is based predominantly on the processing of beech, oak and ash, yet other types of wood can be processed dependant on upon customer demand.
The mission of the company, summarized through its slogan Always a step ahead, is to evolve into one of the leading wood processing companies in the region. The Boksit places special focus on the quality of its products.
Die Firma Boksit AG Milići – Abteilung Holzbearbeitung beginnt mit dem Geschäft im Jahr 2010 als die Firma Boksit während einer Versteigerung die Firma Der 6. Avgust Milići gekauft hat.
Sofort danach wurde mit der Sanierung und der Rekonstruktion der Firma angefangen. Mit Hilfe der neuen Ausstattung hat es die Firma in der kürzesten Zeit geschafft, neben der primären Bearbeitung (eine Linie für den Durchschlitz der Baumstämme der Kapazität 25.000 m³ jährlich; Kapazitäten der Wasserdampfanlage und der Anlage für die künstliche Trocknung des Bauholzes, sowie der Trimm- und Einfassungslinie für das Design des trockenen Bauholzes), mit der Herstellung von Massivböden und Parketten, sowie der Herstellung von geleimten Massivplatten (Holzverbindung der Breite und der Länge-Breite nach) und Möbelelementen anzufangen. Seit 2014 beginnt die Firma auch mit der Massivmöbelherstellung. Die Herstellung erfolgt hauptsächlich auf Grund der Bearbeitung von Buche, Eiche, Esche oder anderer Holzarten gemäß Kundenwünschen.
Das Ziel der Firma, welches im Slogan Einen Schritt voraus... gegeben ist, ist einer der führenden Holzbearbeiter in der Region zu werden, mit dem besonderen Fokus auf der Qualität des Produktes.

Kompanija Bukom-prom d.o.o. Vlasenica je osnovana 1996. godine i bavi se proizvodnjom bukove i hrastove rezane građe, proizvodnjom masivnog namještaja od bukve i hrasta i kvalitetnog peleta.

The company FL Wood Ltd. was founded on July 1, 2011. The company headquarters is located in Foča at Brod na Drini. Its core business is the manufacture of sawn timber, panels and wood pellets.
The company currently has 74 employees and has a tendency to increase the number of its workforce. Its main products are various types of beech boards (steamed and dried) with widths ranging from 25mm to 80mm and lengths from 0.3 – 0.9m, 1.0 – 2.0m and 2.1m. The company also manufactures various types of beech panels used in the production of solid boards, parquet and furniture parts. The panels are mildly steamed and dried at a humidity level of 8%. The dimensions are as follows: 46x46mm, 43x43mm, 46x33mm, 46x28mm, 43x28mm, 46x23mm and 42x23mm with length of 170-450mm.

HSI Wood Company d.o.o Živinice je firma sa kratkom, ali vrlo uspješnom tradicijom u prerađivačkoj industriji punog drveta. Misija firme je napraviti kompromis između kvalitete i tržišne cijene proizvoda, koji će za krajnji cilj imati zadovoljstvo kupca.
U proizvodni program firme trenutno ulazi paleta drvenih stolica i stolova sa prepoznatljivim dizajnom i kvalitetom. Posebnost firme je izrada stolica od punog drveta na bazi kvalitetnih materijala i domaćih sirovina – hrasta i bukve.
Savremena postrojenja i kvalitetan ljudski potencijal omogućavaju proizvodnju 1.500 – 2.000 stolica mjesečno, koje se izvoze na tržišta Francuske, Njemačke, Slovenije i Makedonije. Rokovi isporuke su između 3 i 4 sedmice.

The company produces upholstered, occassional and panel solid wood furniture, which is custom made. In addition to wood veneer panels (veneered chipboard), we also use geflecht as a raw material (eco-friendly wicker work suitable for painting, modelling and combining with other materials such as solid wood, MDF, veneered plywood, glass...).
Minalli furniture is recognised for its unorthodox design, functionality and the use of high-quality raw materials.
Minalli d.o.o. je BiH firma osnovana 2012. godine u Sarajevu. Bavimo se proizvodnjom i prodajomnamještaja po narudžbi te opremanjem i uređenjem enterijera najčešće namijenjenih stanovanju i ugostiteljstvu. Namještaj je namjenjen domaćem tržištu ali i za izvoz.

For over 20 years the Rose-wood Ltd. company has manufactured high quality products using beech sourced from forests in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company’s sawmill processes 30,000 m3 of beech logs annually, while its drying facility allows the company to dry 12,000 m3 of timber intended for further processing. Rose-wood’s production capacity stands at 4,000 m3 of solid wood panels, joined length-wise or width-wise, while its capacity for the production of series of limited quantities of furniture amounts to 1,200 m3.
The company exports almost 96% of its total production with the largest share going to the EU countries, primarily Germany, as well as countries in the North African region.
The company is also equipped for the manufacture of briquettes, with a production capacity that ranges from 6,000 to 10,000 tons.
Kompanija Rose-wood d.o.o. već 20 godina proizvodi visokokvalitetne proizvode na bazi trupaca bukve koje nabavlja iz šuma Bosne i Hercegovine. U vlastitoj pilani godišnje preradi 30.000 m³ trupaca bukve, a posjeduje i vlastitu sušaru kapaciteta 12.000 m³ za sušenje građe namijenjene daljoj preradi. Rose-wood proizvodi masivne ploče, dužinski i širinski spojene kapaciteta 4.000 m³, kao i dijelove za namještaj manjih serija kapaciteta 1.200 m³.

The company Rukotvorine Ltd. has been producing furniture in the style known as the Bosnian-Konjic style ever since 1927. Today, several pieces of the company’s furniture are under state protection as part of the national cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its furniture and woodcarving techniques, perfected through four generations of carvers, featured in a UNESCO publication on rare craftsmanship in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently, efforts are underway to have the Konjic woodcarving technique included in the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage list.
Whilst working with some of the most talented professional designers in the Balkans, who draw inspiration from our traditional designs, the company Rukotvorine continues to develop new lines of authentic characteristic designer furniture. The company uses local types of wood, such as walnut, cherry, maple, elm, ash and oak, for production and utilizes modern technology for their processing. Exceptionally skilled craftsmen then apply the traditional manual woodcarving techniques to produce modern furniture designs with innovative carving patterns. Every piece of furniture is finished manually with environmentally friendly wood finishes. All products are unique and recognizable both in the country and abroad.
Rukotvorine d.o.o. još od 1927. godine proizvode namještaj poznat kao bosansko-konjički stil. Danas je nekoliko komada namještaja pod zaštitom države kao dio bosanskohercegovačke nacionalne kulturne baštine. Proizvodi i tehnika drvorezbarstva, koji su se usavršavali kroz četiri generacije drvorezbara, objavljeni su u UNESCO-voj publikaciji o rijetkim zanatima u Bosni i Hercegovini. Sada su u toku napori da se konjička tehnika drvorezbarstva uvrsti na UNESCO-vu listu nematerijalne kulturne baštine.

U proizvodnji se koriste lokalne vrste drveta (npr. orah, trešnja, javor, brijest, jasen, hrast) i savremena tehnologija njegove obrade. Nakon toga, izuzetno vješte zanatlije primjenjuju naše tradicionalne ručne tehnike rezbarenja na moderno dizajniranom namještaju i inovativnim motivima. Svaki komad se dovršava ručno u prirodnim i ekološki prihvatljivim finalnim premazima. Svi proizvodi su unikatni i prepoznatljivi na domaćem tržištu i u izvozu.

The Standard Furniture Factory Joint stock co. in Sarajevo leads the market in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the manufacture and sale of wooden dining room furniture. Standard, established in 1965, was privatized in 2002. Today, the company is known under the name Standard Furniture Factory Joint stock co. With furniture as its core business, the company’s assortment of products has placed it in the leading position in the market and allowed it to create upwards of 900 jobs. The company has created close to 110 new jobs in the past two years, applying a hiring approach that gives priority to younger people. Standard focuses on the development, manufacture and sale of dining room furniture, such as chairs, tables, benches and cabinets, and recognizes a high quality of products as an ever-present priority.
Today, nearly 100% of the company’s production is intended for export: mainly to the German market where the Standard Furniture Factory has become a recognizable brand in the middle to high price range of furniture. Each year Standard Furniture Factory actively participates in the famous M.O.W. furniture fair, which takes place in Bad Salzuflen in Germany. Export by Standard amounts to 100 million BAM annually and it has ensured market placement for its products for the next three years, with a planned annual growth rate of 25%.

The company’s core business activities include construction (from civil engineering works to architectural finishing works) and design offering turnkey engineering services across the spectrum from designing buildings to handing them over to investors. The services include design, landscaping works, procurement and transport of construction materials as well as the provision of heavy equipment for construction works. The company’s staff is highly skilled and capable of meeting any needs that investors may have.
The company produces joinery at its manufacturing facility, which also provides a full range of joinery services. In addition to wood joinery, the company produces PVC and aluminum joinery as well as INOX fences. Vizija products also include bar stools and solid wood tables. The company owns construction equipment, a fleet of construction vehicles and heavy construction machinery capable of serving the needs and enabling undisturbed operation at any construction site.
Privatna firma Vizija d.o.o. Visoko osnovana je 28.8.1998. godine i bavi se izvođenjem svih vrsta građevinskih radova (od grubih građevinskih do finalnih zanatskih radova na objektima), nudi usluge projektnog biroa, tj. inženjering po sistemu ključ u ruke od projektovanja do predaje objekta investitoru. Firma se bavi svim vrstama projektovanja, vanjskog uređenja objekata, nudi usluge nabavke i prijevoza svih vrsta građevinskog materijala, kao i sve usluge rada teških građevinskih mašina. Firma upošljava visokostručan kadar spreman da uspješno udovolji svim zahtjevima investitora. U sklopu firme nalazi se i pogon za izradu građevinske stolarije koji pruža sve vrste stolarskih usluga. Pored proizvodnje drvene stolarije, bavi se i izradom PVC i ALU stolarije te izradom INOX ograda. Također, Vizija proizvodi barske stolice i stolove od punog drveta. Firma je opremljena svom potrebnom opremom za izvođenje radova u građevinarstvu, vlastitim autoparkom za potrebe opsluživanja gradilišta i nesmetan rad, kao i teškim građevinskim mašinama.
Die Privatfirma Vizija GmbH aus Visoko wurde am 28.08.1998 gegründet und sie beschäftigt sich mit der Ausführung der Bauarbeiten (Rohbauarbeiten bis finalen Handwerksarbeiten an Objekten). Das Dienstleistungsangebot der Firma umfasst auch Dienstleistungen des Projektbüros d.h. schlüsselfertiges Systemingenieurwesen von der Projektierung bis zu der Objektvergabe an den Investor. Die Firma beschäftigt sich mit der Projektierung und der äußeren Objekteinrichtung, bietet Dienstleistungen der Beschaffung und des Transports des verschiedenen Baumaterials an, sowie alle Dienstleistungen der Arbeit mit schweren Baumaschinen. Die Firma beschäftigt hochqualifiziertes Personal, das in der Lage ist, allen Kundenwünschen gerecht zu werden.
Als Teil der Firma existiert auch die Anlage für die Ausarbeitung der Bauschreinerei, die auch verschiedene Schreinereidienstleistungen anbieten kann.
