HOW IT ALL STARTEDMaster Tech RV Service Center is the culmination of Tim Klenks’

forty year journey in the RV industry. Almost from birth, Tim has been involved in the RV and recreation industry. First, in his family’s vacation resort, then at the age of sixteen, Tim became part of his family-owned RV dealership in Park Rapids, MN. The camping season is short in Minnesota, and after some economic downturns, his family decided to close the dealership. Tim loved the business, and decided that Elkhart, IN, home of his wife, Kathy, was where he wanted to go. Soon, Tim had accepted a Service Manager position at a local RV dealership, and shortly thereafter, he and his family completed the move.

Things went very well in the RV dealership service department. He developed strong relationships with all the RV manufacturers such as Newmar, Monaco, Country Coach, Tiffin, Blue-Bird, Keystone, and many others. Over the years Tim’s experience and skills grew. He was offered a position as parts, customer service, and warranty claims manager at one of the largest RV manufacturers in the area.Tim gained even more experience and depth of knowledge working in the manufacturing sector. With Tim’s leadership, experience and direction the Mfg authorized Tim to split the service and parts divisions. Tim Starting and Managing the new parts and service division leading the manufacturer in building, suporting and customer satisfaction for customers and dealers across the country.

When the time was right, Tim made the tough decision to strike out on his own. In 1998 Tim & Kathy purchased property with buildings large enough for Tim to launch his own independent RV Service and Renovation Business. Over the years the business grew, as did the great reputation for quality repairs done at Master Tech RV. In 2003, Master Tech RV Service moved to its current location at 28717 Holiday Place, Elkhart, IN. department we can house over 30 Motor Coaches
