1. What makes Mrs. Foster nervous and anxious?What makes Mrs.Foster nervous is the thought of being late when she needs to get a train, a plane or a boat.

2. What does Mr. Foster do that annoys his wife?He always keeps her waiting unnecessarily because he is very calm and it causes his wife to become more ill.

3. Does Mr.Foster know or care how it affects his wife?Mr.Foster knows how it affects his wife but not purposely he increases her pain.

4. Where is Mrs. Foster going? Who is she going to visit?Mrs.Foster is going to Paris to visit her daughter and her daughter’s family, especially her three grandchildren. (Although she doesn´t like her daughter’s husband, she loves her daughter and her three grandchildren).

5. Where will Mr.Foster be while she is gone?Mr.Foster will stay in the club so he will only visit the house to see that everything is right and to collect the mail.

6. Does Mrs.Foster miss the plane? What happens to her flight the first day?No, she doesn´t miss the plane. Her first flight was cancelled due to the fog and for that reason she took the plane the next day.

7. What does forget Mr.Foster inside the house?Mr.Foster forgets a present that he had bought for his daughter. It was a comb.

8. What does Mrs.Foster find in the car?While Mr.Foster was looking for his present inside the house, Mrs.Foster discovered the little box inside the car where the present was.

9. What does Mrs.Foster do at the door when she goes back to get her husband?Mrs.Foster went back to the house in order to tell her husband that she had found the present but when she was going to open the door she heard a noise which she knew what it was. Although she knows her husband got caught inside the lift, it’s too late and she prefers to leave her husband and go to Paris.

10. What happens to Mr.Foster?Mr.Foster gets caught inside the lift of the house during the six weeks his wife is in Paris.

11. Is Mrs.Foster responsible for what happens to Mr.Foster?Yes, she is responsible for his death because she preferred to travel to Paris instead of helping her husband.

12. What does Mrs.Foster notice about the house when she returns?When she returned to her house she noticed a strange smell and she found her husband dead inside the lift.

13. What is in need of repair at the house?The lift is in need of repair because it is stuck.

14. Is Mrs.Foster a bad person or just a woman with an opportunity?I believe she is a woman with an opportunity to be free and happy, because now she can live with her daughter in Paris and that is what she really wanted to do.
