Simon Rawlinson, Davis Langdon “Office projects in London accounted for 40 percent of all new orders placed during the last nine months of 2006.”

Mr Rawlinson warned that only a handful of big contractors and proven specialist contractors would cash in on the London office boom. He said “It looks like the industry is splitting into two tiers. On jobs below £50 million there will be a lot of competition, but the small pool of big contractors will have the market to themselves and will be able to dictate terms.”
