There is no main image as I was not confident/ experienced enough with Photoshop to edit one to size in time for the deadline.
Masthead – I played around with the design/ style of the masthead and ended with this. The font matches that on the FC.
Page numbers juxtaposed to the titles of each feature – as seen in my research – to make it clear what page each one is on, and to make certain that the contents page meets its purpose.
Page number at the bottom – meets the conventions of a magazine.
Colour scheme matches that of the FC
The content is all/ mostly college related – representing the target audience, theme and genre. “UCAS… Lecturer… University”

Evaluation• There are obviously a lot of things I would have changed if
given the chance regarding my preliminary task. • My lack of technical ability with the software (Photoshop
and InDesign) prevented me from creating a front cover and contents page that one would expect to see published. Therefore I now know I need to spend some time practising using the software so when it comes to my actual production I can confidently produce a realistic music magazine.
• I think I got the main elements in though (inspired by my research) and it was useful in helping me develop the necessary skills required to design and create my final piece.
