HOW WELL DID YOU PLAN YOUR PRODUCTION AND WHAT METHODS DID YOU

USE?• We had two weeks to plan roughly and agree on a timeline or series of

what was going to happen and we agreed on what and how we would use the timeline in order to represent the production that we had planned. The way in which we planned, was that we jotted down a few ideas and tried to develop each idea and the idea that we thought was the best was the one that the group and I stuck to. Whilst planning we made sure we incorporated media terminology for example the types of camera shots (shot reverse shot) and camera angles (180 degree rule). The fact that we put the media terminology it help is with our production overall. We reduced the amount of time we spent on planning because we tried to focus on sorting out how the shot would look and also editing but generally we didn't take a long time to plan, filming and/or editing.

WHAT INFLUENCED YOUR CHOICE OF THEME?

• Once we read the preliminary task, as group we discussed what options we had and we chose the best one that complimented our group the most. We chose an option that was very controversial this was because it was more realistic and seem comprehendible and easy to piece together. Also it was an idea that just fitted perfectly this is because it was easy to find a location, no props were needed so our decision was mainly based upon the fact that it was simple to organise but covered many controversial topics and had a good storyline.

HOW WELL DID YOUR PRODUCT MEET THE ORIGINAL PROPOSAL?

• Our original proposal was feasible, but once filming we noticed that certain shots would not correlate to our aim. When I say this I mean that at first we filmed one of the actors going inside the building but she then ended up outside so whilst filming our team took time out to discuss where the conversation would take place and we all came to an agreement that it would be outside.

• Even though we had to made a change our proposal slightly there was not much changes to the plot so therefore I think the proposal was well followed but with a few adjustments which made our preliminary task (short film) flow more smoothly and was ambiguous to the idea of what it was about.

CAMERA COMPOSITION & MOVEMENT OF SHOTS

• Camera composition is what you can see in the lens and what is being captured. This helps keep the order engaged . However, we used the shot reverse shot, over the shoulder ,180 degree rule head hot and more. Also, the movement of the shot was at a very steady speed; this was in order to capture the actor is walking so o the camera man had to walk sideways on while I walked straight ahead.

MISE EN SCENE • In our product Mise En Scene would be made up of:• Setting • Props- Clip on earrings• Facial expressions and body language- fear of telling partner bad news

and listening to the bad news and feeling hurt and also walking away• Space-time not capturing to many people within a single frame

DIEGETIC & NON-DIEGETIC SOUNDS

• Diegetic sound means sound that you are able to see the source that it is coming for example my product consisted of mainly diegetic sound which came from the characters.

• Non-diegetic sound is sound that you can hear but you do not know where it is coming from. My product consists of non-diegetic sound which is coming from the traffic and the music being played in the background.
