Mise-en-scene setting in a wooden area in the autumn as if the child was really going back to school.

The girl is smiling and having fun which makes the magazine and shot seem more real and believable.

All the subheadings are in colours which brighten up the page as the background is quit dark. It also represents energy and fun that children have.

Includes a button to draw the audience’s eyes, bright blue and yellow colours to emphasise it more so. Jagged shape more entertaining for the eye.

Italic, Bold and Underlining is used on the page. Different text sizes and fonts are used and many coloured texts are spread over the page.

Includes the date and issue number on the magazine which I inputted as a USP so the buyers know more about the magazine, and remember it from this.

I placed the masthead at the bottom of the cover page to give the magazine have uniqueness to it and make it different to every magazine that’s out there.

I chose the name ‘Prime’ as prime means to make something (someone) ready for use of action and children are learning ready for their future ahead. I used capital letters for it to stand out and make sure the name is remembered by the reader.

The cover lines and secondary cover lines relate to the magazine being sold well.

The different texts used on the front cover are; AR BONNIE (PRIZE (32)), Felix Titling (PRIME (140)), Comic Sans MS (Cover Lines (28)), Calibri (Body) (Cover Line Description (18)), Georgia (Date and Issue Number (13)) and Aparajita (Bracknell (32)).

White text used on top of dark background.

Mise-en-scene clothing is in school uniform for readers to believe.

The camera shot is a long/extreme shot, I did this to make sure the setting is included in the frame so gives the audience more to look at and believe the shot as the girl was going back to school. More fun and capturing.
