JUDGING TIME & COURSE FAMILIARIZATION

Judging will begin at 8:30 am (first dog on the line). Handlers in all classes are permitted to walk the course, without a dog, prior to the start of the class. The walk through is restricted to handlers entered only in that class. The walk through period will be held prior to each class.

Awards & Prizes A dark green qualifying ribbon will be given to each dog with a qualifying score. Rosettes will be awarded to the top four qualifiers in each height division in each class as follows: 1

rd place Yellow Rosette

4th place White Rosette

A qualifying score is required for ALL prizes. “Dog” means either sex. New title pins, MACH/PACH ribbons and MACH/PACH bars will also be awarded. Prizes must be claimed the day of the trial, none will be mailed. Please notify the trial secretary if your dog may earn a

MACH/PACH at this trial.

CATALOGS/RUNNING ORDER SHEETS Running order sheets will be posted at the trial site. Pre-ordered catalogs will be available for purchase price of $3.00. A limited number of catalogs will be available for sale the day of the trial for $5.00 each.

Please potty dogs in the designated areas. Handlers who do not clean up after their dogs will be excused from the trial without a refund.

Crating space will be available. Please place a tarp on the floor underneath your crates.

Trial Regulations – Notice to Exhibitors Entries not on official AKC entry forms (5x7 size only) or photocopies of entry forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are not acceptable. Fax, telephone, email and unsigned entries cannot be accepted. Mail all entries with fees to Katrina Hughes, N7699 County Road D, Belleville, WI 53508. Overnight mail, UPS and FedEx packages must be sent with “no signature required.” Make all checks & money orders payable to WLRC. All fees to be payable in US dollars. Do not send cash. Entries received without fees will not be accepted. Postdated and returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. A charge of $25.00 will be made for each returned check. A maximum of ten (10) dogs may be submitted per envelope for entries. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. If the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee, entry fees will not be refunded. Refunds will not be given for entries withdrawn after the closing date or in the event a dog and /or handler are absent or are dismissed from competition regardless of the reason for such dismissal. Entry fees for bitches that come into season after the closing date will be refunded by mail, minus $15.00 per day fee, if a veterinarian’s certificate is presented to the trial secretary prior to the start of judging. Errors on entry form are the owner’s responsibility and no entry fee will be refunded in the event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the trial has closed. Declinations of entries: WLRC may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove dogs on account of disease, viciousness or other causes and no one shall not have any claim or recourse against Winnebago Labrador Retriever Club. Judges are not required to wait for dogs. The owner of each dog is solely responsible for having its dog ready at ringside when it is to be judged. Dogs may arrive any time prior to judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Dogs Eligible to Enter: This trial is open to Labrador Retrievers 15 months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club, or that have AKC Limited Registration, Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP). Optional mixed breed classes (AKC Canine Partners) are not offered at this trial. Not eligible are bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury or illness which may affect the dog’s physical or mental performance. Dogs and children at the trial site must be in the control of their handler or parent. Any exhibitor whose dog or child engages in unsafe or disruptive behavior may at the discretion of the trial committee be asked to leave the trial site. Puppies under six months of age are prohibited from the trial site. Pinch collars, citronella collars, electric and dummy electric collars, gentle leaders, and similar halter collars are prohibited on the trial site. The safety of the dogs is the primary concern of Winnebago Labrador Retriever Club. By entering this trial exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform the obstacles safely. WLRC is not responsible for the loss of, injury to or the death of any dog exhibited or the loss of or damage to any participant whether the result of an accident or other cause. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations. Retired Agility Dog Run For Glory (Limited to 25 Labradors so sign up early! Opens 4/28/16, Closes 6/1/16.)

Have you ever wished for one more run with your special dog? This special non-judged event is being held by the Winnebago LRC for our beloved retired agility dogs. The Run for Glory will be held in conjunction with our annual agility trial on 6/17/16. This class will be held after Master/Ex JWW. Dogs entered may not be entered in any other classes at this agility trial. Each dog will run a JWW course with jumps set at the handler’s preference or bars on the ground. While the dog is running the course, an announcer will read the dog’s biography. At the conclusion of the run each dog will be awarded a medallion. . The cost for entering is $12 per entry. . AGREEMENT

I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any c laim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liabili ty for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.

Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend, and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other persons.

INSTRUCTIONS

Handlers may opt to enter in a higher height division for all Regular titling classes, but not in a division lower than their proper height division. Dogs entered in the Preferred classes must compete at the required jump height and may not compete in a jump height division higher or lower than their proper height division.

All dogs that have not been officially measured for an Agility Jump Height Card may still compete; however, they must be measured by a Judge of record, an Agility Field Representative, or a Volunteer Measuring Official, prior to running. If measured by the Judge of record, that measurement will be valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor's responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running.

Dogs listed in the AKC Canine PartnersSM program may be eligible to enter all-breed AKC agility trials at the club’s option. These dogs should be listed as All American Dog and must include their AKC number on the entry form and check the AKC No. box.

Junior Handlers should enter their Junior Handler number on the front of this form. Should you not have your Junior Handler number, it may be obtained from the American Kennel Club (919) 233-9767.
