5 Saving and Erasing Game Data

There is one save file. Every timeyou clear a stage or exit the shop,your progress will be automaticallysaved.

♦ Data cannot be restored oncedeleted, so please be careful.

To delete your save data, pressand hold , , and simultaneously in the time betweenthe Nintendo 3DS logodisappearing and the title screenappearing when launching thesoftware.

If you acquire costumes inBOXBOY!™ and then openBOXBOXBOY!™ with the save dataon your system, then the costumeswill be carried over to the in-gameshop (p. 8).

Guide Qbby to the end of thestage. Select "Controls" or"Techniques" from the pause menufor an overview of how to controlhim and pull off certainmanoeuvres.

Press + simultaneously tobacktrack a little bit.

Quick Retry

The amount of boxes you can useat once. For example, "2 sets of3" means that Qbby can place twosets of three boxes within thatstage.

Remaining/Crowns Collected

The number of boxes you haveremaining until the crownsdisappear. A will be displayedevery time you obtain a crown.Collecting all crowns will earn youa perfect clear.

This is displayed when a hint onhow to proceed is available. Youwill need to spend Play Coins(obtained by carrying yourNintendo 3DS system with you asyou walk around) in order to viewhints.

Hint

Qbby can place up to two sets ofboxes. After two sets have beenplaced, the fir placed willflash when Qbby is about to pushout another set. It wil l thendisappear the moment Qbbypushes out another box.

Collect a crown by touching it. Ifyou use up all of your remainingboxes, any uncollected crownswill turn gre ) and you will nolonger be able to obtain them.
