Exam pattern and syllabus

• For those who are applying for Law Officer- Scale I & II & Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale the question paper will test your proficiency in areas of Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry and Professional Knowledge.

• The question paper will comprise 200 questions of maximum 200 marks which have to be completed in 2 hours duration

 • IT Officer Scales I & II, Agriculture Field Officer Scale I, HR/ Personnel

Officer Scale I, Marketing Officer Scale I, Chartered Accountants Scale-II & Manager Credit / Finance Executive Scale-II the question paper will test your knowledge in Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Professional Knowledge.

• The question paper would comprise 200 questions of maximum 200 marks which are to be completed in 2 hours duration.

• This might prove interesting to many, as it is similar to solving riddles/puzzles etc. The section can include any form of logical and reasoning question from the myriad of types. The questions in this section will be both in Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning forms covering topics as - Analogy, Input-Output, Classification, Syllogism, Inferences etc.

• Important tip to be remembered is get a book dedicated to logical reasoning which covers most types of such questions and first see the trick to solve each type before attempting. This will make you understand how to solve those questions fast and accordingly the speed will keep increasing when the actual practice will be started.

• Do all with mental alertness and logical skills, as these are the fastest solving questions if you have practiced similar types already enough.

Quantitative Aptitude: Tips

• If you know the concepts, only the practicing is required, if not then focus on each chapter individually, learn the concepts – practice and then move on to another chapter.

• Solving the questions of Quantitative Aptitude needs speed as well as accuracy to be maintained.

• The topics such as the number System, Ratios, Profit-Loss and Discount, Percentage, Average, Data Interpretation, Time and Work etc. will be asked in the paper and more exact idea can be inferred from precious question papers. There is no shortcut to crack this section but only practice.

General Awareness: Tips

• This section is something which no one can prepare in a day or even weeks. This section has to be planned long in advance. You need to take time out daily to learn new facts

• The section is all about knowing the G.K. questions mostly relating to India and few international as well. You need to develop the curiosity, if not then at least read news papers daily and books such as Manorama G.K. , Lucent’s G.K. or you can even download a Current affair application on mobile and read it on the go.

• Remember to also keep the facts in brain and not forget it too early. The Awareness topics questions may be asked around are - Banking System of India, Money, Budgeting, Financial Planning, National and International Organization etc.
