Closure:
To conclude the lesson the teacher plays a song (the preposition dance) and students sing and
dance along with the music. The teacher then asks students questions which summarize the
lesson. Finally students copy a short note on the topic.
Evaluation:
To evaluate the effectiveness of the lesson students will be required to complete a worksheet
where they will identify the prepositions in sentences. They will also be required to use the
appropriate preposition to complete sentences.
Continuation:
As a form of continuation the teacher could play a preposition Pictionary game. The class could
be divided into two teams. One team sends a player to the whiteboard who try to get his/her
teammates to figure out the preposition that they have by drawing images on the whiteboard.
Both sides take turns for a set time period and the team with the most points wins the game.
