reduction commitments
How do you do it?
The organizations who participate in Spanish Platform for Climate Action have to confirm
their emissions reduction commitments on the website.
Carbon footprint reporting requires that they input the data requested by the Platform
taking into account the organisation’s carbon footprint:
• Base year emissions, indicating those
generated in scope 1 and in scope 2 (in
tCO2e).
• Definition of the absolute reduction targets of
CO2 emissions in 2020, 2030 or 2050.
• Yearly monitoring of emissions generated
How can I participate in Spanish Platform for
Climate Action?
The 11 entities that currently participate in the adhered platform report a commitment to reduce long-term emissions of more than 5 million tons of CO2 e (difference between the emissions generated in 2016 and emissions in 2030 taking into account the reduction of emissions declared by the entities committed).
