Strategy for the Impulse and Consolidation of the Innovation Procurement in the Public Administration of Andalusia The main challenges of this Strategy are to modernize the Administration and turn it into an innovative public organization at the service of citizenship, stimulate the increase of investment in R & D and the competitiveness of companies in the region, establish effective mechanisms for coordination among the agents involved in the innovation procurement process and learn to explain the benefits of the innovation procurement to citizenship.

Strategy for the Impulse and Consolidation of the Innovation Procurement in the Public Administration of Andalusia

5 STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES:

Cover the needs of innovation detected by the Ministries and prioritized in collaboration with the Innovation Procurement Unit, that the Administration can not attend through traditional means of contracting, at least 75%

Contribute to increase investment in R & D of the Public Administration of Andalusia a average of 2.6% per year

Contribute to increase investment in R & D of the private sector and higher education in Andalusia an average of 0.15% per year

Encourage innovative activities with the Public Administration of Andalusia as a buyer.

Consolidate the use of innovation procurement in the Public Administration of Andalusia with a minimum number of annual projects.

The main objective of the InnoBroker project is to establish an Innovation Procurement Broker (IPB) business model that will bring together and facilitate the procurement of innovative goods and services between contracting authorities and suppliers of innovation (with a special focus on SMEs and start-ups), investors, and researchers.
