This site deserves four stars because the intern is given challenging responsibilities within the company. However, this internship program is less than two years old, so some systems are not established yet. Nevertheless, the company is allowing the interns to pave the way in areas of sponsorship and website development. The intern is expected to perform research and other tasks that allow a student to apply classroom knowledge and skills into a work environment. Overall, the activities allow an intern to put their skills to the test in a way that they understand the financial impacts of what they learned in the sport management program.

Oversee the registration of the high school girls’ divisions for the National Basketball Championship

Develop new player profile directory for the National Basketball Championship

Learn the weekly processes required to put on youth sports tournaments for basketball, soccer and 7-on-7 football

Observe and practice the management of tournament sites

Daily Activities

Create a report which details the scope of NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA rules and regulations as they pertain to NCAA Certified Basketball Events.

Research the eligibility of committed high school seniors to participate in these events.

Find a directory of college coaches which will help PrimeTime Sports advertise their events to these coaches.
