NX Integration



Load Unmanaged Data into the NX session

NX 12.0.1

Capability

• Load unmanaged parts into the NX-Teamcenter session

• Work with unmanaged parts during the NX-Teamcenter session.

• Perform certain analyses against the unmanaged data

• Visualization, Clearance, Measure.

• Loaded unmanaged data cannot be saved to Teamcenter or the

O/S

• Associative references (WAVE, Expressions) cannot be persisted

between managed data in session and the unmanaged data.

Value

• Do not need to create an Item in Teamcenter, or import Supplier

data into Teamcenter, before evaluating against configured

design data.



ECN Integration and Change Management

NX 12.0.2

Capability

• Sets an active ECN for the NX session.

• NX automatically populates and maintains content in the

various Teamcenter Change Folders on Save:

• Impacted Items, Solution Items

• Parent Assemblies, Interim Assembly Nodes, Child

Components

• Reason for Component Changes: Create, Add, Remove,

Modify, Replace, Change Quantity.

• Allows users to create a new ECN as part of the Save process

• Once approved, objects in ECNs are promoted and released.

• Facilitates / Automates the change process for the NX designer.

• Enter Part Description on main Import Table dialog, File New, Save
