S.T. System Truck wasfounded in 2000 on the initiative of it’s three foundingmembers, each having gainedover twenty years experiencein the field of Industrial vehicle conversions. Theybegan production with a particular approach to the application of steering axleshydraulically controlled by a patented system called“TECHNOLOGY” and producedby a sister company calledH.T.S. Hydro TechSystems, founded in 2001 with the objective to design and produce innovative steering system solutions forindustrial vehicles. In 2007 H.T.S. Hydro Tech
Systems became a whollyowned subsidiary of S.T.System Truck with production facilities located in the samefactory. Today S.T. System Truck is the biggest converterof Industrial vehicles in Europe.

PRODUCTS
Our ability to design, produce and our commercial attention to the positive response to the needs of the customer, have enabled the rapid growth of the company, from the initial production area of 900 m2, to a new facility with a total area of 6500 m2 (3200 m2 covered).
This growth was made possible mainly by expanding our market, which since 2002 is no longer just national but now covers all of Europe and some Asian countries.
In recent years the turnover has stabilized at € 5 Million and production capacity has increased to 500 vehicles per year and while processing in excess of 150 conversion kits.

All conversion solutions are engineered by the technical office: all suspension, axles, steering systems, pneumatic and electrical systems etc.. satisfy all OEM requirements and are in line with current legislation (national and European).
The technical department uses 3D CAD (Solid Works) for the design and verification for structural finite element analysis (FEA). Critical components are analysed in
order to reduce the risks of malfunction during operation, for design errors or for deficiencies in the production process, by means of FMEA (Failure Mode, Effect Analysis), especially in the case of new products or changes to products and / or existing processes.
DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
The design process also includes the following steps of monitoring:• verification of the project inputs,• review of project inputs,• start design planning review,• review of design for development,• review of final design,• validation of the design.
• its movement is synchronized with the front axle and it improves the handling of the vehicle in forward
and reverse directions. It also improves the driving capability in every operational situation, reduces tyrewear and road damage, reduces fuel consumption and stress loading on the chassis while turning;
• the steering and the memory of the angular position of the axle is ensured by a flexible command cable,
which translates exactly the angular movement of the front axle;
• the heart of the system is the hydraulic circuit. This is the circuit of the power steering. The circuit is
powered by a pump added independently and driven by the vehicle engine;
• the original front axle power-assist is not effected in any way or influenced by the steering application, nor
is the electronic system of the vehicle changed in any way;
• the pneumatic circuit ensures self-centering of the system "TECHNOLOGY“ and therefore the axle in the
event of a hydraulic pressure loss. This circuit is connected to the pneumatic original on the vehicle.

CHASSIS CONVERSIONS
The production processes are carried out by qualified and experienced personnel.For the system manufacture we
employ specialist technicians, who are regularly trained and updated (licensed for welding EN 287-1) and certified processes (UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 15614:1 for welding). Equipment and measuring
instruments (torque wrenches, torque controlled screwdrivers, etc..) are periodically inspected and calibrated. A Josam laser device is used for axle alignment on each vehicle before delivery, in order to ensure the correct alignment of the axes. A spray booth which can contain
vehicles in length up to 12 m is used for finish painting.

S.T. System Truck transformed it’s first vehicle in the year October 2000: a 440E42T IVECO Magirus-3.5, tractor unit with application of a third rear-steer axle.It has exceeded 5000 conversions at the
facility in Verona (up to 2011).To date, there are more than 5500
vehicles operating all across Europe which utilise the “TECHNOLOGY” hydraulic steering system.

The company is qualified by the major vehicle manufacturers for the supply as the primary system,and the Ministry of Transport for the conformity of series production (CoP).The vehicles are regularly tested at
the Ministry of Transport with the performance of all required tests (braking, ABS, steering, etc..). S.T. System Truck is able to deal
with the practice of testing, both for vehicles for the domestic market, which in the foreign market, by the issuance of the Certificate of Approval IVA (for vehicles approved in a single copy) or COC (for approved vehicles with mass production).
