Social Media Accounts

.When we first began promoting carton equestrian centre, the only social media site previously set up was a Facebook like page. However This had been extremely neglected.

We decided to set up four social media sites to promote carton as a business

Overview of how our campaign evolved to date

Insights from our social media accounts:

Wrong comments and statuses for our target market

We needed to upload and communicate child friendly material

We currently have eight blogs advertising and promoting the business.

we have connected with over 40 professionals and gained valuable insights

Insights gained

• AFTER SOME RESEARCH WE REALIZED THAT THE MAJORITY OF THE USERS WE WERE TRYING TO REACH WERE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 13-18

• THE CONTENT THAT WAS BEING POSTED PREVIOUSLY WAS NOT NECESSARILY FRIENDLY TO THIS TYPE OF DEMOGRAPHIC

• WE COUNTERACTED THIS BY POSTING TEEN FRIENDLY CONTENT SUCH AS VIDEOS & PHOTOS ABOUT HOW MEMBERS OF CARTON EQUESTRIAN HAD BEEN PERFORMING ON THE IRISH EQUESTRIAN CIRCUIT AS WELL AS RUNNING COMPETITIONS.

• THIS CONTENT WAS POSITIVELY RECEIVED AND IMPROVED OUR ENGAGEMENT WITH OUR AUDIENCE

• PUBLISHING SCHEDULE PROVED VITAL IN TERMS OF OUR INSIGHTS AS IT HELPED US IDENTIFY EFFECTIVE TIMES TO POST AND ALSO LET US KNOW WHAT CONTENT WAS PERFORMING WELL

Page 6: Presentation MN219 social media 14-12-12

THIS TABLE FROM CROWD BOOSTER SHOWS HOW OUR PUBLISHING

SCHEDULE HAS HELPED US IMPROVE OUR REACH

Recommendation's to clients

• Constantly be on the look out for new and improved ways of engaging and connecting with your audience

• Continued use of publishing schedule – Great success for us in terms of understanding our fan base

• Find added value in their social media account – not only a place for connecting with current members

• Expansion into an all in one source for all things equestrian – share nationwide equestrian news, promote upcoming events on Irish equestrian circuit, tips for new comers etc.

• Great way to build a reputable brand image in the equestrian field

• We now understand how to evaluate our sites performance through the use of measurement tools.

• We have learned the necessary research techniques used to establish our target market.

• We now understand how to identify and produce information that appeals to people of different ages.

What we would have done differently

• Given more members of our team access to social media sites.

• Work off one Facebook page instead of two to reduce customer confusion
