Goal: ”Make Women Bankable”To develop a sustainable Micro Finance Institute and create an entrepreneurial infrastructure - Swedish model

Project specific investmentsSocial: To facilitate self employment opportunities to women from marginalised groups in four regions

Structural:To establish four Micro Finance regional support platforms

Financial:To build-up a Micro Finance Loan Fund

Results, impact and sustainability of the project results so far...The first Micro Finance Institute in Sweden was inaugurated on 11th Sept 2009

Transnational cooperation: NEEM is one among European Micro Finance Network members - Exchange of best practice

National level: Policy dialogue on Micro Finance as an inclusive labour market strategy has been initiatedDeveloped Micro Finance outreach methods and tools are on transfer to other organisationsThe Micro Finance Institute in Sweden Ltd is started by beneficiaries Direct lending permit by Swedish Financial Authorities
