Recommended Action

Motion to adopt the resolutions to accept donations and authorize increases in budget codes

accordingly.

a. Donation by Rolling Hills Primary School PTA of $5,000

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board accept, on behalf of the District, a donation

by the Rolling Hills Primary School PTA of $5,000.00 to Rolling Hills Primary School to

be applied towards the cost of their playground equipment, and;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the District will deposit these funds into

Restricted Donation Account TA038.33, and;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board authorize an increase to Budget

Code A1620-201 for use of these funds.

b. Donation by The Kula Foundation of $17.47 to the Commack High School

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board accept, on behalf of the District, a donation

of $17.47 to Commack High School.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the District will deposit the funds into

Commack High School Donation Account TA038.19.

Recommended Action

Motion to approve the agreement with Building Blocks for a Universal Pre-K Program and

UPK Program

Recommended Action

Motion to approve the agreement with Kiddie Care Early Learning Center, Inc. for a

1. Motion to adopt the following resolution re: UPSEU Memorandum of Agreement:

BE IT RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of

Schools, the Board of Education hereby ratifies the Memorandum of Agreement

dated July 13, 2017 between the District and the United Public Sector Employees

Union in settlement of AAA Case No. 01-106-0001-0544, and authorizes the Board

President to sign the same.

2. Motion to adopt the following resolution re: Second Extension – Student Agreement:

BE IT RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of

Schools, the Board of Education approves the Second Agreement Extending

Resolution Agreement between the District and Student #06004007, and authorizes

the Superintendent of Schools to sign the same.

3. Motion to adopt the following resolution re: CTA Memorandum of Agreement:

BE IT RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the Board

of Education hereby ratifies the Memorandum of Agreement dated August 4, 2017 between the

District and The Commack Teachers Association in settlement of PERB Case No. A2016-508 and

authorizes the Board President to sign same.

the Board will make a motion for the purpose of adjourning into Executive Session at

this time, and at 8:00 p.m. the Board will reconvene in Public Session for the

purpose of holding its Regular Public Meeting.
