• City 50th anniversary led to interest in establishing College Station Historic Marker program
• First markers awarded in 1991• Honor homes, buildings, subjects in College Station• Structures at least 50 years old may qualify• Structural markers to date:
– 87 Residential
– 10 Buildings
• List of Historic Markers on College Station web site in “Project HOLD” archive (also included: the 13 Texas Historical Commission markers located in College Station)
