Introduction:-
In the workplace of the future you may send and receive dozen of messages.
Various messages media that use or save the time for both sender and receiver.
Newer electronic form of communication comes merit of the messages.
It enabling a person to attend a meeting in other city or other part of the world without leaving his or her desk.
Electronic Mail(E-mail):-
Electronic mail is still emerging.
It is marked as informal and speedy
The formats of e-mail have similarities to both memo and letter formats , with conventions that are still developing as the use of e-mail expands.
Email can be formal , semi formal or informal.
Some receivers always print out the messages in hard copy in order to get there best reading.
Facsimiles Faxes
Facsimiles(faxes)
For immediate communication, many organization use a fax , which is the fast growing means of sending and receiving the messages.
For years the instrument languished only to burst forth as one of the preeminent instrument for communicating information worldwide or down the hall.
The system transmits identical images electronically from sender machine to receivers'.
Telegram:
They are older form of electronic communication
It is still used by those companies that are not used computer network.
A message of communication sent by telegraph
Mailgram:
o Mailgrams are used to need to reach a number of people simultaneously in writing on the next business day.
o A mailgram is a type of telegraphic message which is transmitted electronically from sender to post office
Telexes:-o Telexes are also electronic message that use telegraph line for transmission.
oAn international system of telegraphy with printed message transmitted and receive by the printers carry the public telecommunication
Teleconferencing:-
Less expensive to bring people closer located at distant geographical sites.
(1) Audio conferencing uses telephones line to connect each other.
(2) Video conferencing uses close circuit television that every person participant can see hear and talk to each other.
(3) Computer conferencing uses computer terminals to link participant.
Conclusion:-
With the invent of technology there are different media has been used for convey and received messages.
Although internet has taken place in in large part of the world but still it is informal way of communication.
Most of the world still use faxes as main timesaving message media
Teleconferencing is benefit to connect people all over the world.
