About the project:

Scandinavia Club came to life in summer 2011 asan alliance of enthusiasts who take a vivid interest inScandinavian culture. Since the very beginning theproject has organized a few dozens of events,including cinema, lections, thematic meetings andconcerts of such bands as iamthemorning(St.Petersburg, Russia), Hjalmar (Iceland),(St.Petersburg, Russia), Hjalmar (Iceland),Mathias Landaeus Trio (Sweden), etc.

Since autumn 2011 Scandinavia Club officiallyrepresents Icelanders Hjalmar in Russia.

In July 2012, Scandinavia Club took part in theorganization of the Moscow amiina (Iceland) concert.

NORDIC TIME

NORDIC TIME is a series of events of various formatsand scales, united by the idea of popularizing bothmodern trends and traditions of Scandinavian culture.Frequency: weekly or fortnightly.

Formats: cinema, lectures, thematic meetings, parties,concerts.

Held in Moscow at cafe Lady Jane, «Masterskaya»,Held in Moscow at cafe Lady Jane, «Masterskaya»,«B2» and others.

Previous events:

As a kind of culmination for the NORDIC TIMEproject will be two concerts of Danish bandSTOFFER OG MASKINEN, that will take place onMarch 15 and March 17, 2013 in St. Petersburg andMoscow accordingly.

About the band

STOFFER OG MASKINEN, founded in 2006 inCopenhagen, has already made itself known in theDanish indie music scene as successors of today’sleaders in independent music such as Muse, BlocParty, Friendly Fires, Klaxons.

The duet combines electronic vibes together withdense guitar sound. The intonations and vocal rangedense guitar sound. The intonations and vocal rangeof vocalist Stoffer change from one track to another:starting with whispers, switching to a loud chorusbefitting a whole stadium and back to whispering.

The self-taught virtuoso Maskinen, responsible forthe musical part in the duet, is in addition known forbeing producer for another well-known Danishartist Marie Key, and has collaborated, among others,with Fallulah, Martin Hall, Ginger Ninja, Le Klik, etc.
