Dear Parishioners: I am really grateful to the 16 of you who are calling our parishioners to check on their health and spiritual wellbeing. I am happy to visit anyone at home who would like a sacramental visit. Call the recto-ry. Please send back the information on your emails and cell phones. It is the best way and sometimes the only way we can communicate with you quickly. Please return the form in the self-addressed enve-lope asap. Take your missalette home each week and bring it back to sing! If you want one for next year let me know. Correction: Cost will be $10. I ordered 60. Church life is gradually improving! We are still at 84 spaces. We are exceeding this capacity at the 12 noon Spanish Mass. If you come after the church is filled, you will not be admitted. Please attend one of the other masses or watch our livestream @presentationdenver.org. Public masses are at 8 a.m. M – F. Please support the ACA Campaign. Archbishop gave Presentation $13,500 from the campaign and the assistance of Catholic Communi-ty Services to help us raise our offertory to pre-Covid levels. We are still up to only $2,575 last week. Please send your contributions by mail to 665 Irving, Denver, CO 80204 or make them online at the parish website. You can bring them by the rectory and put them in the special box on the door. You can give online at Presenta-tiondenver.org. Please help! I sincerely want to thank those who are continuing to send us offerings.

Infanticide Logically Follows Abortion in our Culture of Death In the February 2012 issue of the Journal of Medical Ethics an article flatly ar-gues in favor of infanticide. In case you doubt that anyone would openly espouse the killing of babies after birth, let us quote from the article itself. “Merely being human is a reason for not in itself ascribing someone a right to life,” the authors assert. Killing a newborn “should be permissible in all the cases where abortion is, including cases where the newborn is not disabled.” The authors argue that newborns lack the “level of mental development” neces-sary to be considered human. In other words, say the authors, what a baby doesn't know — its impending death, in this case — can't hurt it. A few short years ago no medical journal would have accepted an article purport-ing to justify infanticide. Now, after human life has been devalued by over 46 years of legalized abortion, such a proposition creates barely a stir. The Catholic Church has been continuously warning us for years about the ramifications of the culture of death. We must get involved in making a stand for innocent human life, otherwise our culture will only get worse! Pro-Life Articles

Pro-Life Articles
