square and include your logo. It should also be used consistently on all social networking profiles.


Social Media Tips & Secrets :: #2• Find your Facebook voice. 90% of the

power of a Facebook Page is in the Status Updates because they get News Feed exposure. If you aren’t getting any Comments or Thumbs Up, then you haven’t found it and your Facebook ROI is probably minimal.


Social Media Tips & Secrets :: #3• Be nice. Reply and ReTweet. The

more you ReTweet others, the more often you will get ReTweeted. The fastest way to gain new “Followers” is to be ReTweeted. But be smart about it. Only ReTweet interesting content. Don’t bore your followers with boring chit chat!


Social Media Tips & Secrets :: #4• Mix it up! Don’t only Tweet your own

content. Send out interesting, valuable content that’s ReTweetable. Overtime you will get a sense of what kind of content your Twitter followers are interested in. If you are not getting ReTweeted, then your ROI from Twitter is likely minimal.

nonprofits are creating groups named after their organization. That doesn’t work – even for large nationally known organizations with high brand recognition. It’s better to create a Group named after a cause or issue.

basic HTML to add “Donate Now” buttons, e-Newletter sign-up boxes, and/or social networking icons to your blog or Facebook Page. Learn basic HTML!

Web.• 1 in 5 Americans now access the
