Program (1): Hands-On Science Learning; the implementation is accomplished through four work streams

Science Learning Clusters Training and Certifying Supply and Procurement Networking

• Utilizing the existing schools and social places to establish a network of “Science Learning Clusters, SLCs" linked to the scientist and youth around the world

• Training and Certifying educators and mentors from South Korea in USA

• Establishing workshops between South Korea educators and their counter parts in USA

• Supply and Procurement of scientific tools and materials to the Science Learning Clusters.

• Access to resources and materials to build scientific projects from simple to complicated.

• Prepare and organize tours to educators and the youth to museums and laboratories

• Establish communication Link between educators and the related research centers in South Korea and USA

Setting joint workshops for the teachers and trainers of the US and their counterpart in South Korea

Organizing professional visits and joint research in USA For Academics and Scientific Leaders

• The vision is to take the participants from South Korea to cutting edge scientific institutions to meet face to face with their counterparts to design and develop joint programs of research

• Around USA meeting the best, professional development experience tours; Places to visit such as the Keck Telescope in Hawaii; Stanford University in California; the Exploratorium in San Francisco; NASA in Houston; the National Science Teachers Assn in Washington DC; plus several other sites in DC including the Smithsonian Institution**.

Program (3): Designed for kids, parents and the public to ignite their curiosity and delight for scientific discovery

Knowledge based society

• Setting up a community based, science literacy building initiatives, centered on a strong presence on TV Channels/Web Programming Networks and local stations affiliates in South Korea.

• All live shows, teacher professional development, and television programming will be tested and implemented jointly with South Korea specialists, starting, in our Partners facilities.

OUR PARTNERS:THE NATIONAL SCIENCE TEACHERS ASSOCIATION, THE ROYAL INSTITUTION OF GREAT BRITAIN, SCIENCE OLYMPIAD, AND THE

ASSOCIATION OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CENTERS - All pilot initiatives in Operation, live shows, teacher professional development, and television programming will be tested and implemented at first, in those establishments.AKADEMOS PRINCIPIA SCIENTIA -a group of noted science communicators, will comprise the “science” cast of the shows and other productions.

The programs of works are designed to be launched and applied in the cities and villages in three simple stages

General Agreement Projects PreparationProjects

Implementation

• Establishing a governing joint committee between the south Korean and Faraday studio.

• Identifying Terms of reference, tasks and responsibilities for the General Agreement.

• Agreeing on the standards and procedures for applying the Programs of work.

• Programs Statement of Work (SOW), capturing and defining the work activities and projects in each program.

• Completing and agreeing on the master plan for implementing the three programs in South Korea.

• Identify key performance Indicators of the projects.

• Review performance measurements and quality control.

• Site visits and feedback from both sides, South Korea and USA.

• Follow up on the progress of the master plan.

• Sustain and improve the successes of the implemented Projects.

The programs will be customized to fit the South Korea requirements

Moving forward:

• Customized program of work, based on South Korean requirements and feedback: Issuing either a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) or a Letter of Intent (LOI) by South Korea Authority, to include MOE’s requirements, interests and Priorities.

• Preparing the annexes and signing the General Agreement in South Korea: submitting the Technical and Commercial Proposals officially to the South Korean by a delegation from Faraday Studios; negotiating the items listed into the customized programs verses costs and specifications according to South Korean requirements, and preparing the annexes, and signing the general agreement.

• Ensuring meeting South Korean interests and Priorities : Key representatives from South Korea who are involved in the programs, will visit USA to have close look and to meet our teams and places/institutes which are identified by the General Agreement.

• Executing programs of work and signing the Annexes: organizing a signing ceremony at the South Korean Embassy in Washington DC, to sign the contracts listed, as annexes, in the already signed general agreement and to start the execution process.
