As IS Process of Fertilizer Quality Testing
The Fertilizer Inspector of the district collects the samples as per the target fixed by respective District Agriculture Officer of the district. District Agriculture Officer sends the samples to Laboratory. After analysis, the reports are sent to Director of Agriculture to issue the Quality Certificate of Fertilizer of the samples concerned.
Currently fertilizer samples are collected by the Fertilizer Inspectors from the Manufacturer/ Dealers/Retailer and Form P and K is filled, out of which one copy is meant for Manufacturers/ Dealers/Retailer, one copy is retained by him and one copy for Testing Lab. Then the respective fertilizer inspector sends the collected samples to the TESTING LABORATORY with the necessary documents and sends report to the respective office. From the TESTING LABORATORY after testing, the testing reports (through Form L) are generated sent back to the respective offices. Existing System in non pilot state (http://wbagrisnet.gov.in)
