The Technologies I have used.

I have used the technologies listed below.

Blogger, Final cut, You tube, Google, Imovie, Survey Monkey, Mini DV cam cords, Imacs, Mobile Phones, Prezi

BloggerBlogger was the main technology we used and it

was to keep up to date with thriller, and new films that we have watched. We always upload new pieces of data and research that we may have come across.

Final CutFinal cut was the most exciting technology that I

used as this piece of equipment to edit our thrillers and it had many different gadgets to make the thriller look exciting. This piece of software is a high standard of software and it was tricky and difficult to get use to. The program also allows you to put music and different effects of the film.

YoutubeYou tube was a help technology as it helped us

research ideas of other thrillers and music ideas. After we finished our thriller we uploaded our thriller to the website and this is were many views can watch our thriller. You tube also helped us out by getting certain trailer or clips that we may have needed to put on our blog.

GoogleGoogle is a program were we mainly research

information surrounding a particular thriller, it also helped us by getting various pictures that we may have needed. Google was a useful technology as we researched Alfred Hitchcock who was a famous thriller director and Google help us identify different facts about him.

Survey Monkey Survey monkey is a basic audience research

program and you write questions about various different thrillers for example ‘which genre do you most enjoy’. This is very helpful as it helped us find the correct people who would watch this thriller, It was also useful so we would know which details to put in the thriller.

Mini DV CamcordersThe camcorders we the main piece of our thriller

as we had to record all the action around it so this was very useful and easy to set up when working with it. The camcorders had a very clear picture and it also had a wide area of zoom. By using this I know how to use a basic camcorder and the program to download it.

IMacsThe Imacs are the computers that we use for all

our research of different thrillers. The Imacs also has all the different software's that are provided to make the thrillers and music. The Imacs were used by downloading pictures for the Blogger and the computer is the main technology out of them all as we wouldn’t be able to create any of it.

PreziPrezi is a program that was designed to create

presentations which could loaded up to the Blogger. Prezi is a very useful and easy technology to use, this was very useful throughout the evaluation.

Mobile PhonesOur mobile phones we there also to find research

and take pictures of our location of were we had filmed. They were also useful for communication between ourselves. The was also like the DV camcorder as we could also film on them but it wasn’t as clear like on the Camcorder.

What have I learnt and what skills have I gained?

The main skills I have gained throughout using these technologies was basic features on the programs like final cut, I learnt how to maintain good editing and also how to use the bases of it. I also have learnt new skills like editing films and the basic knowledge of how a film is edited.
