Company Profile • On the market for over 30 years

• Besides its product offering, MF offers also a broad service catalogue.

Industrial Capacities • The company headquarter is located in the industrial area of Calcinato (Brescia) • It covers area of 10000 m2 divided in:

– 4000 m2 workshop area (lifting means with capacity up to 40 t) – 500 m2 offices area

• A production capacity of 6000 tansformers divided in : – Mineral oil transformers : 2800 PIECES – Cast-Resin transformers : 3500 PIECES – Dry type transformers : 200 PIECES

• Average Turnover of the last 5 years : > 25 M€uro

Cast-Resin Product Offering • Standard Distribtion Transformers according to CEI EN 50541-2011 Standards

– with normal, reduced losses and with high efficiency up to 3150 KVA and with insulation voltages up to 36 kV

• Special transformers up to 15 MVA with Insulation level up to 52 KV for all application types, even the most challenging ones

«Services» – Inspection Check Transformer

• Analysis and checks of equipments isolated with dielectric fluids.

– Oil Trasfo Service • Assistance on site for:

– Treatment and replacement of dielectric fluids, – Small electrical and mechanic repair jobs.

– Active Service • Revisions / modifications repair jobs on MV and HV transformers in our workshop. • Maintenance operations on customer’s site.

– Eco Service • Revamping of PCB-polluted transformers (<1000 ppm) in conformity with local

Authorization of Lombardy No. 5738

– Electric Tests on-site

Testing Rooms • MF company has two fully equipped testing rooms capable of carrying out

all routine and type tests for transformer power up to 40 MVA in class 170 KV (insulation test with applied voltage up to 500 kV and impulse at 900 kV) :

– Impulse withstand test – Temperature rise test (with temperature measurement of upper core part) both

for distribution transformers and converter transformers – Measurement of the noise level in compliance with CEI 14-9 Norm – Measurement of electro-magnetic field emission in conformity with CEI EN 500

81-1-2 standards – Measurement of tangent-delta – Resonance check – Switching impulse test – Special tests (on demand and at CESI in Milan):

• short-circuit withstand test in compliance with CEI 14-8 § 5 standards • fire behaviour in compliance with CEI 14-9 § 6 standards • climatic class • ambient class

• MF has also a chemical laboratory available for: – physicochemical oil analysis – resin analysis
