SAGEM team is composed by 80 people operating day by day with ourcustomers, creating tailor made solutions for all their needs.
SAGEM team manages import/export activities, FCA free carrier deliveries,freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehouses management, inspectionsand controls.
Furthermore, through its partners, SAGEM offers all typical shipping agencyservices (including affreightment), consulting, broker insurance and riskmanagement assistance.
IMPORT/EXPORT AND FCA FREE CARRIER
SAGEM operates every day to succeed in import/export operations, taking care ofthe relations with transport operators and their representatives, predisposing alldocuments required, monitoring loading and unloading operations, supervisingthe completion of customs clearance, cargo storage and goods handling.
LOGISTICS AND WAREHOUSES MANAGEMENT
SAGEM manages loading and unloading operations via ships, trucks, trains and all the transport-related operations such as arrangement of sale contracts, loadingassistance, sampling, control and management of the goods in store, release of transport documents and statistics, guaranting a daily business relations with importers and operators.
INSPECTION SERVICES
SAGEM offers sampling and inspection services for all the products managed(agri-food, animal and vegetable oils and fats, industrial oils, wine and molasses,iron and steel, cement, fertilizers, minerals, energy and industrial), including:
• Water Tightness _ tightness test of theship hold;
• Cleanliness Inspection _ cleaninginspection of the ship hold, tank-containerand/or of the means used to transport;
• weight control and sampling;• draft survey;
• laboratory analysis by certified lab or labselected by the customer;
• marine survey;• field test of dry cargo;• inventory of goods in stock;• inspection of goods condition.
SAGEM ONLINE
SAGEM improved an online platform (sagemlog.com) in order to make import/export logistics and delivery services more efficient. This platform allowscustomers to be always updated (real time updates) about the authorizedquantities of goods to be delivered in respect of the purchase/sale contracts andabout the daily stocks and deliveries positions. The system was upgraded in orderto communicate with the production and industrial installation thus ensuring areal time traceability.
RISK & INSURANCE MANAGEMENT
Trough its partners SAGEM offers a complete assistance to its customers, startingfrom the risks management and the identification of the most appropriateinsurance coverage up to the assistance in case of claims.
Among applicable clauses: Extra Expenses Clause, GMO Cargo or Non GMO CargoClause, Rejection Expenses Clause, FOG/FOQ cover, Seller’s Buyer’s ContingencyClause, Difference in Conditions and Take-over Clause, Storage Cause, Sue andLabour Clause, Theft Clause, Container Clause, Vessel Clause.
