Wednesday Evening ConcertWednesday will feature an inspiring concert, which begins at 7:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

FacilitiesThe Alleluia! Conference will take place in the Glennis McCrary Music Building and the George W. Truett Theological Seminary on the Baylor University campus. The Thursday evening banquet will be held in the Bill Daniel Student Center in the Barfield Drawing Room.

Leadership TrainingBaylor University and Choristers Guild provide outstanding clinicians to lead daily training sessions in organ, piano, church music ministry, conducting, children’s choir, handbells, and others.

Reading SessionsJubilate! offers nine hours of choral music reading sessions for all of next year’s needs. Reading sessions will be led by experienced composers and will include music specifically chosen for this event.

WorshipNumerous worship events will enrich the conference by offering opportunities to refocus ministry, fellowship with colleagues, and learn new techniques for worship.

FellowshipRenewing friendships and meeting new people is a strength of Alleluia!. Whether sharing a meal, a Dr Pepper float, or browsing the exhibits, you will be inspired from four days with other church musicians.

ExhibitsExhibitors will display current materials and supplies for church music ministry. Pine Lake Music is the official music supplier for this event.

Continuing Education Units Units will be awarded to qualified participants. Certificates will be available at the end of the conference at the registration desk.

BanquetThursday evening’s conference banquet has become an annual event to recognize outstanding church music leadership during an evening of fellowship, good food, and musical entertainment. The banquet costs $15/person. Please make reservations by July 3.

Full Conference RegistrationRegistration for the full conference covers your choice of all interest sessions, reading sessions, and music packets. Wednesday evening concert is free. Lodging, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are not included in the registration fee.

Early Registration (postmarked by June 1, 2006) is $225 for the full conference. The fee for three or more people from the same church is $175/person.

Regular Registration (postmarked by June 2, 2006 or later) is $250 for the full conference. The fee for three or more people from the same church is $200/person.

Thursday Night Banquet with Kurt Kaiser $15 Reserevatons must be made by 7/3/06.

One-Day Registration

The fee is $85/day. All-day intensive training is available for:

Children’s Choir on Wednesday, July 19 Julie Scott and Mark Patterson will teach five classes each.

Handbells on Thursday, July 20 Arnold Sherman will teach five classes.

Refund PolicyIn case of cancellation, all but $50 of each cancelled registration will be refunded upon request. Refunds will be processed after August 1.

Campus HousingRegistered conferees may choose to stay in campus residence halls for one, two, or three nights. The cost for campus housing is $45/night and includes a shared room, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Private rooms are available for $17 extra/night on a limited basis. Linen packages (pillow, sheets, and towels) are available for those flying in from out of state for $13.

Travel InformationThe Baylor University campus is located in Waco, Texas, halfway between Dallas and Austin off I-35. It is 100 miles to either the Dallas/Fort Worth or Austin airports. The Waco Regional Airport has connection services to D/FW only. Flights also are available to Killeen, Texas, which is 50 miles south of Waco.

Area AttractionsWaco has numerous attractions to interest the entire family. These include the Mayborn Museum Complex, Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum, Dr Pepper Museum, Cameron Park, Cameron Park Zoo, Waco Water Park, Homestead Heritage Farm, World Hunger Relief Farm, and shopping at Richland Mall, Hillsboro Outlet Mall, or the Central Texas Marketplace.
