Habitat For humanity – Blazer Build

A nonprofit, Christian Housing Ministry that has helped to build over 500,000 decent, affordable houses and served 2.5 million people worldwide.

Their vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live

It was founded in 1976 by Millard Fuller and his wife, Linda.

Service Projects

For habitat for humanity I helped to build a house.

I also volunteered for the South Georgia Classis golf tournament where I made sure the crowd remained quiet while the golfers teed off, made sure the golfers were hydrated, and kept the bibs organized and in order.

Why I do Community Service

I think I have become a better person by volunteering. Doing community service makes me appreciate what I have and what I have been blessed with. I try not to take my life for granted after seeing what other people have to endure. It is always an eye-opener for me. It is refreshing to know that my help can make some else’s life easier.
