The Slammer & Squire course officially opened to the public in May 1998. The Slammer & Squire features two distinct nines with generous fairways, contoured greens, and plenty of water hazards along with impressive views of the

World Golf Hall of Fame. The course was the host site of the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, a Senior PGA TOUR EVENT and currently hosts an array

of other golf events such as the Handa Cup.Investment:

The Four Diamond Golf ExperienceThe King & Bear is located approximately 10 minutes from the Resort. Set among pristine lakes, beautiful pines,

and stately oak trees in northern Florida, the King & Bear is a true collaboration of two of the golf’s greatest legends, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. Each of the courses contains characteristics of both players. Putting

aside their legendary rivalry, these two Hall of Famers have collaborated on a truly remarkable golf course of unparalleled beauty, challenge and design.

Measuring 7,279 yards from the stone tees and 5,119 yards from the green tees, this course is sure to challenge the skilled golfer while providing player-friendly conditions for the novice.

This is a "driver's" course, which should come as no surprise as both Palmer and Nicklaus wielded awesome power games in their primes. You'll also experience the wide fairways of Nicklaus and the fast greens of Palmer.

So enamored of the course he helped design, Arnold Palmer selected hole number 15 as one of his "Dream 18" in Sports Illustrated's Preview to the Ryder Cup 2006. We think you'll agree.

The Alligator Experience

Imagine having the ultimate outdoor experience… spending the day with a licensed nuisance alligator trapper (this is a hands-on experience). You will ride along for the day, assisting in every aspect of scouting and catching a live alligator. You’ll be right in the middle of the action, from the initial snagging to fighting a gator on rod and reel, a fight better than any offshore fish can give. Then comes the fun part, assisting with snaring, subduing and taping the gator’s mouth! Here you will find a mix of old

Florida, a dose of humor and a modern approach to hunting. We hunt some of St. John’s County’s most scenic areas, and on our hunts it is not unusual to see some of Florida’s most spectacular wildlife, such as otters, dear, manatee, and a host of raptors. Make no mistake, these hunts are difficult, with all the up and downs of an off shore fishing trip. Hunts are done from a truck,

with sites ranging from a lake deep in the woods to a fairway at Sawgrass TPC. After climbing into a truck filled with reels, harpoons, and coolers, we are off for a life changing adventure.
