How to Order for Your Property

1 All purchase orders must be faxed to your sales representative (or emailed [email protected]) for processing. A contact name and phone number must be included on the purchase order.

2 A Customer Service Representative will contact you to arrange/confirm the scheduleddelivery date.

3 Every NEW customer must submit an account application form, there are three options:

• Cash with order: Cash, check, money order, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express

• 50% / Net 30: 50% deposit required; remaining balance due as or before product ships• Open Terms: Net 30 days with approved Credit (first order minimum of $5,000 required)

Upon receipt, review and approval of the appropriate application form, a customer’s order will be processed. *Trade, Dun and Bradstreet and bank references are required prior to the approval of Open Terms Credit applications. Open Terms Credit applications may also require an initial deposit to be paid in advance of any orders being fulfilled.

4 Normal lead-time is three to four weeks. Custom sizes require six weeks.

5 Delivery service for orders of 12 sets (or 24 pieces) or more is provided by Beautyrest®

Hospitality at no charge within 400 miles of the plant and within the Continental U.S. only, providing the location can accommodate a 53' trailer. Less than 12 sets (or 24 pieces) will incur a one-time $75 USD stop charge. Prices not valid for Hawaii, Canada, or Puerto Rico.

6 To make changes to an order, notify your representative in writing at least 10 business days prior

to delivery.

Beautyrest® Hospitality Bedding 2020 Terms & Conditions

TERMS• Cash with order: Cash, check,

Each client must complete an account application either for Credit or for a Cash account. When applying for credit with the Beautyrest® Hospitality Bedding Company it is very important the completed application with all requested financial information is submitted. Applications with omitted information could result in our inability to grant credit. In the case of LLC’s, Beautyrest® Hospitality requires the names of the investment partners and their credit worthy status. Clients have the option of paying cash for an order to avoid submission of privileged credit information.

CREDIT HOLDAll accounts are set-up with specific credit terms and a specific credit line. If payments are not received within the account terms, all subsequent orders are subject to credit hold until the account returns to a “current” status.

CHANGE OF ORDERAll order changes (quantity, address, date) must be sent in writing a minimum of 10 (ten) business days prior to the designated ship date. Verbal requests are not accepted. This is required to insure acquisition of all the special materials required to make quality hospitality bedding products. In the case of a change that is not communicated to Beautyrest® Hospitality in the prescribed time parameters, we reserve the right to charge for extra costs. Those charges

will be 15% of the order total or $200, whichever is greater. Requests for changes to orders in production will not be accepted!

MINIMUM ORDER CHARGEA $75.00 Minimum Order Fee will be charged for orders of less than 12 sets or 24 pieces.

FREIGHT CHARGEFree tailgate delivery within 400 miles of a Beautyrest® Hospitality Plant, not including Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. Any distance over 400 miles the client will be charged for the incremental mileage over 400 miles.

Property must be able to receive a 53' tractor trailer. Delivery in equipment less than a 53' tractor trailer is subject to additional charges to be determined by Beautyrest® Hospitality. These arrangements must be completed 10 days before shipment of first order.

INSPECTION OF DELIVERY UPON ARRIVALUpon arrival, Beautyrest® Hospitality requires that all products delivered be inspected by the client or a designated agent. All discrepancies should be clearly marked on the Bill of Lading. Discrepancies include shortages and damages.Claims after delivery that were not indicated on the bill of lading will not be accepted. Damaged or incorrect product should be refused at delivery.

REFUSALS & RE-DELIVERYAny Beautyrest® Hospitality delivery that is refused in its entirety, not for damage or incorrect product at the point of delivery, will incur freight and redelivery charges. The client may be required to pay charges before the redelivery is scheduled.

RETURNS & CANCELLATIONSThe following fees will apply to order cancellations; they are based on specific time windows:• 10 or more business days

in advance of ship date:Full refund and no restock fee

• 6-9 business days in advanceof ship date: 30% restock fee

• Less than 5 business days inadvance of ship date or afterproduction: 60% restock fee

STORAGE CHARGEStorage charges of $50.00 per day, per truckload, will apply for orders that are already produced when delivery dates are moved out to a future date.

DROP TRAILER CHARGESIn the event a client requires a drop trailer during an installation, Beautyrest® Hospitality will quote the cost for the trailer rental, dead head delivery costs, and any other needs required by the client. A signed Release of Liability is required.

FREIGHT CLAIMSBeautyrest® Hospitality will process a freight claim up to 30 days after the delivery if damages are noted on the Bill of Lading.

1 All purchase orders must be faxed to your sales representative (or emailed [email protected]) for processing. A contact name and phone number mustbe included on the purchase order.

2 A Customer Service Representative will contact you to arrange/confirm the scheduleddelivery date.

3 Every NEW customer must submit an account application form, there are three options:

• Cash with order: Cash, check, money order, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express

• 50% / Net 30: 50% deposit required; remaining balance due as or before product ships• Open Terms: Net 30 days with approved Credit (first order minimum of $5,000 required)

Upon receipt, review and approval of the appropriate application form, a customer’s order will beprocessed. *Trade, Dun and Bradstreet and bank references are required prior to the approval ofOpen Terms Credit applications. While not all sources of noise are within your control, many are. Leaky faucets, buzzing light fixtures and loud HVAC equipment should be addressed immediately before guests have the opportunity to complain. Your housekeeping staff can be your first line of defense here. Add potential sources of noise to the room checklist so maintenance can be informed and take action to resolve any identified issues.

The best time to address sound-proofing, of course, is when a property is being built or remodeled. Short of that, there are a number of ways to mask or muffle noise. Here’s a quick overview of what hotel properties are doing to keep the noise level down in and around guest rooms and increase guest satisfaction.

• Eliminate connecting doors between adjoining guest rooms.

• Create quiet zones during specific hours to accommodate different classes of guests – families with small children, daytime sleepers like airplane crews, etc. Housekeeping won’t vacuum carpets during these established timeframes and bellman will carry bags by hand.

• Install soundproof windows.

• Install soundproofing technology such as Acoustiblok, to soundproof walls, floors and ceilings in high-traffic public areas like restaurants, bars and ballrooms.

• Install carpet over wood or tiled floors and use sound-absorbing panels in public areas.

• Sound masking systems can be installed in guest rooms, creating pleasurable white noise.

• Install thicker doors with a door sweep at the bottom to seal out hallway noise.

Building a quieter hotel – or making soundproofing enhancements to an existing one – does require additional investment. But losing guests because they had a horrible night sleep could prove more costly in the long run. Do not overload dryer – Dryer overloading causes more wrinkles and can damage fabric.

Set appropriate drying time and temperatures.

Do not put terry items in dryer with bed linens.

Do not dry WynRest® Microfiber bed linens with other bed linens.

Clean lint traps at least every 3 to 4 hours.

Do not over dry.

Remove bed linens from dryer promptly when cycle is complete.

Do not dump items into carts where additional creasing can occur.

Drape items over the cart so the fibers can relax before folding.

Prompt folding will provide the best results.

Proposed drying times are approximate and should be reviewed and adjusted based on dryer performance.

Temperatures that are too cool will not provide the heat required to relax fibers.

Set dryer cycle times and temperatures for each item per the chart and adjust as necessary.

Load washer according to the machine capacity.

Start and run washer using the correct wash cycle set up.

It’s the pillows, comforters, duvets, sheets, blankets and bed skirts that take cen-ter stage from the moment a guest walks through the door. So, how they look, feel -- and smell -- is important. As the saying goes, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

If a guest finds the quality, condition or cleanliness of the bedding less than appealing -- bedding is stained, frayed or worn-out and dirty -- a lasting impression is made about the overall cleanliness of the room and your hotel. Satisfaction suffers instantly. To win their trust and loyalty, it’s important to make that experience a positive one.

Branded top-of-bed specifications may vary, but proper bedding care is a critical housekeeping practice. And while considerations need to be made for fabric type, here are a few valuable tips that will help extend top-of-bed investments and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

1. Keep an Appropriate Amount of Linens in Stock Why is this important? If you don’t keep enough linens on hand, you run the risk or running out during a period of high occupancy or guest use. This could ultimately lead to increased demands on housekeeping staff to process laundry quickly and may require additional labor costs. Frequent rewashing of linens can also cause them to wear out faster, shortening their lifecycle. The American Resort Development Association recommends linen inventory levels at 2.5 to 3 par – in other words, one set of linens for use, one for storage and one that can be in the wash for each room.

2. Always Review Wash Instructions Standards change. Vendors change. Products change. It’s important to review the wash instructions for all linens and top of bed products and adhere to recommended guidelines to avoid damage and extend their usable life.

3. Implement Low Temperature Wash Programs Low temperature wash solutions are designed to reduce energy and water consumption and are gentler on linens, reducing wear while eliminating stains.
