Saudi Arabia

Exporter

• Informs PPECB Chief Inspector (CI) 10 days prior to export.

• Saudi application form to be sent for CI attention.

PPECB

• CI processes the request & initiates sampling for analysis.

• MRL’s are sampled per PUC & thereafter every 8 weeks.

• Heavy Metals & Microbiological are sampled per PHC & thereafter every 8 weeks.

• The lab results are verified by the PPECB CI.

• Saudi confirmation of verified statements” completed by the CI and sent to the Exporter

• Note results are valid for 8 weeks.

Exporter

•Receives “Saudi confirmation of verified statements” from the Chief Inspector

•Prepares the application information pack (to be send via email directly to Stellenbosch Laboratory)

•Note the following must be included in the info pack: 1) Completed Saudi Application form. 2) Saudi confirmation of verified statements”. 3) Lab results for MRL, Heavy Metals & Micro. 4) Copies of Food Safety certificates of PHC and PUC’s concerned.
