INTRODUCTION

Hey Dee Ho Music incorporates Australian Institute of Music & Childhood Development, fun-key yoga, fiction factory, hey dee ho active 8, and fun-key music.

Hey Dee Ho Music specialise in providing educational programs for babies, toddlers and preschoolers and primary schools in after care programs offering a diverse range of programs including Music (hey dee ho), Music/Dance (fun-key music), Yoga (fun-key yoga), Drama and Literacy (Fiction Factory), and Sports and Movement (Active 8).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Presenter is responsible for the delivery of creative and innovative educational programs to children in an engaging manner with high energy and enthusiasm. In addition to ensuring the program is delivered in line with the Curriculum as determined by hey dee ho music and maintains the integrity of the program.

Enthusiasm, high energy and creativity Confident communicator A friendly and approachable nature Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team Organisation and time management skills Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) Experience working with young Children preferable Experience in the delivery of educational programs or entertainment to Children is desirable Experience in delivering programs to a Curriculum is desirable Experience in music, performing and entertainment, and playing an instrument is desirable for Hey Dee Ho

Music and fun-key Music programs along with being a confident singer and an enthusiastic performer. Experience in Dance and Music is desirable for Fun-key music program Experience in Acting or entertainment is desirable for Fiction Factory Experience in Movement, Fitness and Yoga is desirable for Fun-key yoga and Active 8 Previous roles held that are highly desirable include Performer, Early Learning worker, Singer, Dancer and

Teacher. Must possess a level of fitness to be able to effectively run high energy programs and transport Kit. A high level of physical activity and some heavy lifting may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

You will be responsible for;

The delivery of childrens educational programs to babies, toddlers, and primary school age children within Early Learning Services, Community Centres and after school programs;

Preparing for all program delivery, ensuring the program is ready to commence on time and demonstrating a professional image;

Facilitation of programs in an engaging & interactive manner, maximising children participation; Establish and maintain a classroom code of conduct to maintain a positive environment for all Children; Adapt training curriculum where necessary to meet the individual needs of the Children attending; Observe and evaluate Childrens participation, behavior, and social development, and make changes where

necessary to the session content to appeal to the majority of Children; Deliver curriculum according to content and standards of the program set out by hey dee ho music; Coordinate or perform administrative functions necessary to deliver and document learning and

development programs; Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues, third parties and parents of children; Contribute to ongoing program improvement and design by providing feedback and recommendations;

and Undertake personal development and further training on new curriculum to ensure a detailed

understanding of all new program content.
