Account Creation• To create an account, visit www.memoriams.com and click Register.
• Once you complete the Registration page, you will receive an email confirmation tothe address you signed up with. Please click the link to verify your account.
Package Selection
• Once you log into your account, The Post-Standard will appear asyour default newspaper.
• You can view the package options and select the one you would liketo proceed with.
Select Additional Newspapers
• Click Find a Paper tolocate anothernewspaper by City orState Search.
• You can save anewspaper you usefrequently by selectingAdd to Favorites orjust select thenewspaper and thatpaper’s packages willappear.
• We offer over 2,800newspapers in oursystem for you toselect.
Obituary Creation
• You can type or copy and paste text into the text box. You will notice that the previewon the right automatically populates the preview and exact cost.
• Notices can be saved as a Draft and stored for future editing or submission.
• See options to add photo and run dates next.
Photo Editing
• Upload photo(s)
• You can resize the photo,crop, rotate, flip, andadjust the brightness to getthe photo to appearexactly how you want inprint.
• Click Save after anychanges are made.
Select a Run Date
• The Post-Standard’sdeadlines are built intothe system so you willalways know the nextavailable run date.
• Any dates that are boldand clickable are validrun dates.
Optional Fields
Family Representative:• You may enter the Family
Representative to receive acopy of the obituaryconfirmation.
Funeral Home Contact:• For this obituary only, you
can select a differentcontact if you are going tobe unavailable. If this is leftblank, we will use theinformation we have on filefor the user.
Special Instructions:• You may also send any
Special Instructions to thenewspaper along with theobituary.
Emailed Proof to funeral homeand/or family member
Submission and Payment
• You now have the option to submitthe single obituary OR you mayselect Add to Another Paper.
• Everything created for the originalobituary will copy over and re-ratebased on the additional newspaper’spackages. You can edit each versionof the obituary.
• You can add as many newspapers asyou would like and see the total cost.
• You can select your Payment Methodfor each order and receive animmediate Order Confirmation.
• All activity is stored in your OrderHistory.
Credit Card Payments and Processing
• Your respective payment option (s)will be integrated into the system foreasy selection.
• Accepted credit cards are: VISA,MasterCard, American Express, andDiscover.
• Credit card transactions are subject toa 2.5% credit card processing fee.Orders placed with an AmericanExpress credit card are subject to ahigher processing fee.
• The processing fee is waived ifpaying by invoice.
