Diversion, and Heroin Summit

We are pleased to announce that the second annual Utah Opioid, Management, Diversion,
and Heroin Summit will be held October 05, 2017, at McKay-Dee Hospital (4401 Harrison Blvd.,
Ogden, Utah 84403).
The conference is sponsored by the Utah Department of Health, Utah Department of
Commerce/Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing/Controlled Substance Database,
Utah Office of Inspector General for Medicaid Services, Utah Coalition for Opioid Overdose
Prevention (UCOOP), and Intermountain Healthcare McKay-Dee Hospital.
The Summit is for law enforcement, health care professionals, oversight agencies, policy
makers, educators, and healthcare administrators.
General registration is $50.00.
The goal for the Summit is to cross-educate law enforcement, mental health providers,
pharmacists, and the provider communities to effectively address the increased death and crime
associated with the opioid and heroin epidemic in our state.

Panel discussion to further address the opioid and heroin epidemic and barriers to prevention,
treatment, and management.
