The President of India is the head of State of the Republic of India. The President is the formal head of the executive, legislature and judiciary of India and is the Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Armed Forces.

Dr.Rajendra Prasad was the first President of Republic India. On January 26, 1950 the constitution of independent India was ratified and Dr. Rajendra Prasad was elected the nations First President.

DR.RAJENDRA PRASAD (1884-1963)

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan served as president of India in between 13th May 1962- 13th May 1967. He was made a knight of the golden army of Angels by Pope Paul.
