    Spencers Retail Limited, Indias premier food first multi-format retailer, hasmarked its footprint in Maharashtra with the launch of its first Hyper storespread of 29000 sq. ft in Pulse Mall, Pune. The store was inaugurated byDr. Jayashree Firodia, eminent pediatrician of the city. The occasion wasalso earmarked by the presence of Mr. Vineet Kapila, President and Mr.Sanjay Gupta Vice President, Marketing, Spencers Retail Limited.

    The brand new Hyper store offers a wide range and assortment of merchandiseinfood and grocery, fresh fruits and vegetables, electrical and kitchen appliances,stationery, luggage, garments, fashion accessories and footwear for men,women and kids, home and personal care products all under the same roof. A

    wide array of delicatessen, organic and diet food, international food products anda broad choice in regional preferences are also available at the store making fineliving affordable for the customers in Pune.

    Speaking at the launch Mr. Vineet Kapila, President, Spencers Retail saidWe already have 12 daily stores in the city and with the first Hyper, we now haveclose to 60,000 sq. ft of trading area in Pune alone. We further plan to expandour presence in Pune by adding 3 to 4 more hyper stores in the next 9 to 18months.
