Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar 2022
Sahitya Akademi is inviting books for Yuva Puraskar 2022 from publishers and young Indian authors in all the 24 languages recognized by the Akademi. The age of author should be 35 or below as on 1st Jan_uary 2022. Last date of submission is 1th December 2021. The books should be submitted along with a copy of date of birth certificate duly attested by a Class I Gazetted Officer and the affidavit supporting the date and year of birth as well as educational qualification. Further information about the submission can be obtained from Sahitya Akademi's website: http://sahitya-akademi.gov. in.
Sahitya Akademi introduced Yuva Puraskar in 2011 to encourage young writers writing in Indian languages and who are below the age of 35. The awards have been given to the best book by young Indian authors in the Indian languages recognized by the Akadem!, viz., Assamese_, Bengali,
. Bodo, Dogri, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashm:ri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Sc:ntali, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. These awards are presented at a prestigious ceremony and comprise an amount cf. Rs. 50,00r -, a plaque and a citation.
