Pressure Sewer Network—Pressure Sewer Systems are one of the most economical and environmentally friendly sewerage systems on themarket today.

Suitable for both existing on-site treatment, backlog areas and greenfield sites, Aquatec’s Pressure Sewer Systems will operate effectively across any terrain. Our construction and installation methods cause minimal disruption to landscapes, with large inbuilt storage to protect against effluent overflow.

Pipe Network—Aquatec’s Pressure Sewer Systems deliver a network of fully sealed sewer pipes, fed by a grinder pump system located at each property.

Remote Control—Our SPC Control System enables remote monitoring and analysis of trends in real time across desktop, smartphone or cloud devices via your SCADA Platform.

Processing—Market leading chambers contain IP68 rated submersible pumps, grinding solids in the wastewater to a fine slurry for treatment plant processing.

Boundary Connection—Boundary Connection Kits (BCK) provide a means of isolation at the property boundary and backflow prevention.

Delivery—The slurry is pumped through small diameter pipes, following the natural gradient of the land, from the house to the main, and the main to the treatment facility.

Hydraulic Design—Aquatec’s Hydraulic Engineers specialise in the development of efficiencies across sewer lines to rising mains. Recommendations on pipe sizing, calculation of friction, velocity, retention times, air release requirements, number of pumps operating and average daily use per dwelling are modelled on our extensive research.

Reticulation Layout—Aquatec works together with Water Authorities, Councils, Consultants and Engineers to develop reticulation solutions that minimise disruption to existing services, streetscapes, residents and the environment, while achieving best practice design and delivery throughout the network.

Environmental Benefits—Since the introduction of Pressure Sewer technology to the Australian market, Aquatec has played a pivotal role in replacing on-site treatment systems with sealed Pressure Sewer Systems.

Moulded Inlet Stubs —Aquatec’s Pressure Sewer chambers are engineered with Moulded Inlet Stubs to provide a guaranteed seal between the chamber and inlet pipes. Flexible couplings seal pipes from plumbing connections to the chamber, eliminating the need for on-site penetrations into chambers and using rubber seals prone to environmental leaks and ingress.

Domed Base—Aquatec’s Pressure Sewer chambers are engineered with a Domed Base forcing solids into the cutter of the pump, eliminating the potential for solids build up in dead zones and associated odour issues.

Aerated Treatment—For ongoing odour reduction, Aquatec’s pumps incorporate a multi functional anti-syphon valve for offloading a small, steady stream of effluent back into the chamber to aerate effluent into the tank.

Reduced Excavation Periods—Aquatec’s pre-engineered Pressure Sewer Systems are delivered on-site as a complete unit for immediate installation, reducing the period of excavation required and minimising disruption to surrounding flora and fauna.

Rotational Mould Formed Chambers—Polyethylene Chambers—Aquatec’s Polyethylene Chambers are rotationally moulded in a range of pre-set sizes. Designed for domestic, commercial and industrial applications with single or multiple pump configurations, our Polyethylene Chamber designs are based on advanced computer modelling and subject to Finite Element Analysis to ensure chamber integrity.

Fibreglass Chambers—Aquatec’s Fibreglass Chambers are engineered on a case-by-case basis for multiple commercial and industrial pump applications where greater storage and depth is required. Aquatec’s Composite Engineers produce custom designs based on ground loadings, site conditions and storage requirements.

Moulded Inlet Stubs—Aquatec’s Inlet Stubs eliminate on-site penetration of the chamber for inlet connections and provide allowances for ground movement. Our guaranteed seal is applied prior to delivery of the chamber to site for protection against environmental leaks, spills and groundwater ingress.

Slicerator—Aquatec’s Slicerator features a small diameter inlet, reducing the torque required on start-up and eliminating jamming with normal use.

The Slicerator operates with a staggered scissor action to slice through difficult foreign objects, which may be flushed into the sewer system.

As a result, the entire pressure sewer chamber is pumped free of all solids and liquids on start-up.

Your system remains clean and odourless.

Pressure Transducer—Aquatec’s Pressure transducers deliver pinpoint accuracy for offsite monitoring and control of sewerage levels via desktop or smartphone.

Featuring a compact design with a completely protected sensor body, our transducers hold an Industry Standard IP68 submergence rating, providing a superior level of reliability and precision over solid state sensors. Manufactured with a flush ceramic diaphragm to withstand chemicals, fats and grime, our transducers are designed to function continuously in challenging conditions.

Float Switches—Aquatec’s Float Switches are capable of operating pumps or alarms either integral with the pump or wired directly to the control panel connection.

A consistent and reliable long life performance is achieved through a double sealed, raw sewerage proof chamber protecting the inside mechanism, along with a smooth, circular shape making them ideal for Pressure Sewer applications.

Level Controls—Aquatec offers a variety of methods for level control, from simple level monitoring and control to remote real level display and operation.

Boundary Connection Kits—Aquatec’s Boundary Connection Kits provide a means of isolation at the property boundary. Each kit includes a full bore isolation valve, a non-return valve, inspection tee and an optional flushing point mounted inside a polycarbonate or concrete valve box marked ‘Pressure Sewer.’

Flushing Point Kits —Aquatec’s Flushing Point Kits provide a means of eduction or introduction of high volumes of liquid for periodic scouring of a pressure sewer main. Each kit includes pipework, full bore lockable isolation valve and camlock connection all mounted inside an underground chamber.

Isolation Valve Kits—Available with extension spindles for ease of operation, Aquatec’s Isolation Valve Kits provide line isolation throughout the reticulation for scheduled maintenance. Each kit includes a flanged, resilient seated isolation valve, polyethylene connection stubs with backing rings, gaskets and bolts, and a cast iron twist lock inspection cover with concrete surround.

Air Valve Kits—Aquatec’s Air Valve Kits provide a means of air release for high sections of the network, and as a siphon break for descending mains. Each kit includes a double acting sewerage combination air valve, isolation valve and interconnecting pipework, mounted inside a heavy duty, underground chamber.

Reticulation Valve Kits—Aquatec’s Reticulation Valve Kits are preassembled and hydrostatically tested to 16 bar. Heavy duty trafficable covers and various chamber options are available on request.

Over Pressure Protection (OPP) Switch—Aquatec’s OPP Switch delivers complete asset protection across reticulation pipework, eliminating excessive pressure build-up and system management during maintenance or power failure.

The OPP Switch measures pressure in the reticulation and switches off the pump if pressure exceeds a desired set point. As pressure decreases, the pump will automatically restart, providing full protection to pumps and reticulation for the life of the asset.

Safety Grates—Available in fibreglass, galvanised steel, 316 stainless steel or aluminium and rated to AS/NZS 3996, Aquatec’s Safety Grates provide an added lay flat, safety fall arrest system for maintenance personnel.

SwiftLift Pump Trolley—Designed to eliminate lifting at any stage of pump installation or maintenance, Aquatec’s SwiftLift Pump Trolley features adjustable legs and pneumatic tyres to carry heavy weights across uneven or rocky terrain. A brake winch raises the pump from the well, where it can be simply anchored to the trolley and wheeled to a service vehicle.

Service Trailers—Designed and engineered in conjunction with your requirements, Aquatec’s Service Trailers are purpose built, self contained and fully stocked with a generator, retractable ramps, pressure washer, spare parts and tools to provide the ultimate in pressure sewer maintenance support.
