Greek culture• Students go to cram school after regular
school so they can learn more and receive better grades

• Japanese students attend school 240 days out of the year, 60 days (2 months) longer than American students.
• We have summer reading. They have a ton more homework during time off.

• Japanese teens DO NOT drive. They are only allowed licenses when they turn 18. They travel by subway or bus.
• Comic books are very popular, even amongst adults! They are educational too!

“Coming of Age Day” – 20 years old! City Hall Ceremony – Now YOU are an adult!
