Cigarette Smoking isn't cool
•Cigarette smoking causes deaths of nearly
480,000 people in the United States alone.
•It causes more deaths than a combination of
HIV, alcohol use, illegal drug use, motor
vehicle injuries, and firearm related incidents
•Sadly enough, majority of this deaths are
premature in nature
• Risk of death from smoking has increased in
the last 50 years in both men and women
•This is the reason why I selected this topic.
My main aim is to reach out to all smokers in
order to cut down on deaths resulting from
smoking
Use of tobacco by teens
Use of tobacco by adults

second hand exposure to cigarette smoke
•8.6 million people have a serious disease
caused directly by smoking
•Smokers die premature deaths by up to 13
to 14 years younger than non smokers
Respiratory health problems

to smoking cigarettes

men and women in the USA.
