"It's OK to be scared.Being scared means
you're about to dosomething really,
really brave."
I want toLive.
The reasons to undergo a PreventiveMastemcomty are numerous. Gentic markers
and high herditarty risk are the most common.
With a sister (diagnosed at 38) and a mother
with Breast Cancer it wasn't a question of if Iwould get Breast Cancer but when.
If I had to fight Cancer I knew I wanted to throw
the first punch.
I made this decision as a mother or FIVECHILDREN, still nursing my youngest who was
not yet one. If this surgery allowed me more
years with my family, months, weeks or days it
was worth it.
The lack of information/support I found onthe internet was laughable...so I set out to
change that.
I used my BlogPrairieWifeInHeels.com as a platform
to share my story.
