Total Person DescriptionAngela Wilkinson

Note:

The Total Person is a combination of all the elements you completed in your Prevue Assessment.

You have superior verbal and numerical skills, combined with above average spatial skills. Assignmentsthat involve reading and writing will be easy for you. You should excel at any kind of paperwork andcreating written material. You are also able to do challenging numerical assignments such as designingcomplex spreadsheets and advanced data tables. You are almost as proficient in tasks that requiremental manipulation of shapes and objects. These could include reading blueprints, interpreting graphs, and following moderately difficult diagrams.

Overall, you have superior, versatile skills. You should learn quickly and perform well at almost any taskin the workplace.

You are intensely interested in people, data, and material objects such as tools or equipment. Becauseof your excellent motivation when working with all three major factors in the workplace, you shouldenjoy a wide range of occupations. In a computer context, you would likely exert yourself to do well incommunications, data management, and use of graphic software.

You are highly assertive and competitive. You willingly put forth your own views, and have no fear ofconfrontation or controversy. In pursuit of your goals, you will show little concern for others and may beuncooperative with those who do not share your views. As a decisive leader, you are driven to succeedand will work hard to reach your goals.

You generally operate within established policies and procedures. When necessary, however, you canbe flexible and innovative. You are less flexible in the area of scheduling, as you prefer to have a planwith a fair degree of detail. This is a strong combination: you have the consistency and timemanagement that is the foundation of productivity for most organizations, while at the same time youcan adapt to unusual needs or changing circumstances.

You require continual social stimulation and only rarely do you feel a need to be by yourself. Extendedperiods of solitude will be frustrating for you. Often wanting to be in the spotlight, you will usually leadany discussion but you are not inclined to take the role of leader all the time in every activity. You enjoymeeting new people and exploring new ideas. You often act impulsively and long-term assignmentsmust include variety or else you will lose interest. You will not tolerate a great deal of monotony and youwill thrive on challenging assignments, particularly if these contain an element of risk.

You tend to think that few worthwhile goals can be achieved without challenges or setbacks.Consequently, you are able to remain positive and rational, even in dire circumstances. Your objectivityalso helps you to take criticism well. Even when the criticism is personal or unjustified, you are able tocontrol your irritation and embarrassment. You are relaxed and cope so well with pressure that somemight misinterpret your lack of excitability as indifference. If your plans are disrupted or your proposalsturned down, you can shrug off rejection and continue with your work. Whether you are required to givea fast response to a crisis or methodical attention to a routine task, you will perform effectively underpressure. You accept people as they present themselves and easily give them your trust. Lessscrupulous people may attempt to exploit this easy trust and your remarkable patience. Ideally, youshould work on demanding, high pressure, long-term projects that require dealing with people openlyand objectively.

VALIDITY INTRODUCTION:

The rules for identifying patterns of responses in the Personality Section of the Prevue Assessmentwhich might be "invalid" include systematic, but non-meaningful response patterns, omissions andexcessive use of the "B" answer option. Systematic, but non-meaningful response patterns occurwhen the distribution of the responses differ from the norm and are considered unusual. Theomission rule occurs if more than three responses are omitted in a given scale, making the resultsappear more average than they are. The "B" answer rule is affected by the total number of "B"responses selected. You had a choice of an "A", "B", or "C" for every question in the PersonalitySection of the Prevue Assessment. The second option, the "B" choice, is always an unsure orin-between answer.

VALIDITY COMMENTARY:

The total number of "B" responses that you chose in the course of completing the PrevueAssessment Questionnaire, including questions that were not answered, was 3.

This number of "B" choices is within acceptable levels and the results of the Personality section ofthis report had meaningful response patterns. Therefore the data presented in this PrevueAssessment can be considered accurate and reliable.

The use of the Prevue Assessment will help to ensure that you are treated fairly without regard torace, colour, religion, sex or national origin. The Prevue Assessment was designed and developedto conform with the human rights legislative and best practice requirements prevailing in the variouscountries where the Prevue Assessment is distributed.
